DETROIT (4/14/2024) -- The University of Detroit Mercy men's lacrosse team was downed by the Air Force Academy, 14-3, on Saturday afternoon.
Graduate senior
Luke Majick had a goal and an assist, while juniors
Aidan Bishop and
Chase Mahabir each had a goal.

Sean Henige and
Kyle Grant posted a caused turnover and two ground balls and junior
Ryan Richters made 12 saves and scooped up three ground balls. Junior
Billy Hart won four faceoffs and had a team-high four GB's.
The Titans (2-9, 2-5 ASUN) were outshot, 44-30, but did force 16 Air Force (7-5, 6-0 ASUN) turnovers.
Detroit Mercy will be back in action next Saturday as the red, white and blue visit Bellarmine.
Game Notes:
- This was the 10th career meeting between the two schools as Air Force has won all 10, including the four at home
- Majick now has 93 career points, eighth in school history and two away from seventh
- Henige leads the team with 13 caused turnovers
- Bishop has scored a goal in nine of the Titans' 11 games
- Hart has won 29 faceoffs with 18 ground balls in the last three games
- Richters has made double-digit saves in every game this season
- Richters now has 159 saves on the year, seventh in school history for a single season
