DETROIT (4/20/2024) -- Several Titans posted personal records as the University of Detroit Mercy men's track and field team concluded its weekend competitions on Saturday.
At Ohio State, sophomore
Joshua Otten ran a career-best 1:56.42 in the 800-meters for 17th, while senior
Evan Eding was 23rd in the 100-meter preliminaries in a time of 11.11. Graduate senior
Zachary Zaborney placed 13th in the triple jump at 12.46-meters.
At Oakland, sophomore
Jaden McKenzie continued his quick pace as he was runner-up in the 100m in a career time of 11.10.
Senior
Gabriel Baumchen clocked 1:01.57 for fifth in the 400-meter hurdles and was sixth in the 110mH in 16.39.
Freshman
Mike Ferguson finished sixth in the 400m in 52.10 and sophomore
Raeed Monnan earned third in the high jump with a mark of 1.80m.
The 4x100 quarter of McKenzie, freshman
Nicholas Johnson, Ferguson and rookie
Joshua Neary took silver in 44.28.
The Titans will have one final meet before the Horizon League Championship as the red, white and blue head to Michigan for the Len Paddock Invitational next Saturday.
