Titans Conclude Regular Season With Five PR's At Michigan

Senior Gabriel Baumchen set a career time in the hurdles.
ANN ARBOR, Mich. (4/27/2024) -- The University of Detroit Mercy men's track and field team sent a small unit out to Michigan today to wrap up the regular season at the Len Paddock Open.

Senior Gabriel Baumchen took eighth in the 110-meter hurdles in a career time of 16.09 and was 17th in the 200-meters in a career-low 23.50.

Senior Evan Eding clocked a personal best in the 100-meter preliminaries in 11.01 and claimed fifth in the long jump at 6.27-meters.

Freshman Joshua Neary was ninth in the hurdles in a season-best 16.50 and finished seventh in the 400-meter hurdles in 1:00.89, while freshman Mike Ferguson ran a season-low 22.55 in the 200m for 14th and was timed at 51.77 in the 400m in 51.77.

The Horizon League Championship is on deck as the Titans will make the short trip to Oakland from May 3-5.
