ROCHESTER (4/6/2024) -- Sophomore
Jaden McKenzie earned silver in the 400-meters to lead several Titan top-10 performances as the University of Detroit Mercy men's track and field team concluded the Golden Grizzly Invitational on Saturday.
McKenzie ran 49.45 in the race, was fifth in the 200m in 22.34 and ran a leg on the third-place 4x400 and fourth-place 4x100-meter relays.
Sophomore
Antonio Talley finished fourth in the 400m in 49.92 and was also a part of the relays, while freshman
Joshua Neary was sixth in the 400-meter hurdles, clocking a 58.79.
Graduate senior
Zachary Zaborney took third in the triple jump at 12.43-meters, sixth in the long jump at 6.37m and seventh in the javelin with a throw of 42.22m in his collegiate debut, while senior
Evan Eding leaped 6.48m for fourth in the long jump.
UDM will have a busy week next weekend as part of the team will be at the Chippewa Challenge on Friday, while others will participate in the Bison Outdoor Classic on Saturday and Sunday.
