DETROIT (8/15/2024) -- The University of Detroit Mercy men's basketball team will log some miles on the road with trips to North Carolina, Florida and Wisconsin as the Titans announced their non-conference schedule on Thursday.
Before the start of the regular season, Detroit Mercy will host Wayne State in an exhibition match-up on Oct. 27. The game will again benefit Detroit Public Schools K-5, and more on that contest will be announced soon.
Three of the first four regular season games for the red, white, and blue will be inside historic Calihan Hall as head coach Mark Montgomery and the newly built Titans will open the season on Nov. 4 against Cleary.
After a road trip to longstanding Jesuit rival Loyola on Nov. 7, UDM will return to the Motor City to battle Niagara on Nov. 10 and Toledo on Nov. 16.
The next seven non-conference affairs will be on the road or at a neutral site as the Titans visit Ball State (Nov. 20) and Wake Forest (Nov. 23) before heading to St. Augustine, Florida, for the Jacksonville Classic on Nov. 26-27.
One of the longest rivals in school history, Eastern Michigan, is scheduled for Nov. 30, and the Titans will end the non-conference slate at Davidson on Dec. 14 and at Wisconsin on Dec. 22.
Season tickets start at just $100. For more information on season tickets and ticket packages, contact Assistant Business & Ticket Manager Paige Zmudczynski '14 at 313-320-8873 or at zmudczpa@udmercy.edu.
