Lodato got the Titans (2-5) on the board in the 31st minute as she drew a penalty inside the box and put home the ensuing penalty kick for a 1-0 lead.
Eight minutes later, UDM struck again off a short corner kick set piece. Ladato sent over a short pass to Toupin who fired a long shot past the Chicago State (0-4) goalkeeper giving the Titans a 2-0 advantage at the half.
In the second half, Detroit Mercy broke the game open with two goals in just over a minute. Lodato took a long feed from Mascaro that went over the CSU backline and bounced up to Lodato who got behind the last defender to connect on a header in the 58th minute.
Just 1:24 later, Streberger put in a loose ball in the box giving the Titans a commanding 4-0 lead.
With three minutes left in the game, UDM cashed in their second corner kick opportunity as Bradow sent in a cross to Lanier who hit a header into the back of the net to secure the 5-0 win.
UDM's five-game home stand continues as the Titans welcome Western Michigan for Senior Day on Sunday, Sept. 9 at 1 p.m.
