DETROIT (9-8-24) -  Junior Jen Mateyak posted a shot on goal while freshman Sam Sickinger and junior Abbey Lodato recorded a shot as Detroit Mercy fell 3-0 to Western Michigan on Sunday afternoon at Titan Field for Senior Day. 

Before the match, the team honored 10 seniors Samantha Ceballos, Mikayla Duncan, Tia Jokic, Hailey Matthews, Adriana Mroz, Danica Paesano, Marisa Silver, Justice Tillotson, Erica Toupin, and Olivia Zulewski for their hard work and dedication to the program.

WMU (3-1-2) got on the board early in the match in the 18th minute to take a 1-0. UDM (2-6) held their own the rest of the way defensively to only trail by a goal at halftime. 

The Broncos added tallies in the 56th and 64th minute for a commanding 3-0 lead to secure the win.

UDM's five-game home stand continues as the Titans now enter #HLMSOC play against Youngstown State on Thursday, Sept. 19 at 7 p.m.
