BUFFALO, N.Y. (10/18/2025) -- Senior

Colin Murray joined him in the top 10 as the University of Detroit Mercy men's cross country team was runner-up at the Canisius Alumni Classic on Saturday.
UDM posted 70 team points at the Delaware Park 8k course in Buffalo, New York.
Otten was always in the front pack, registering a 24:44, the second-fastest time ever by a Titan at Canisius, trailing only Ben Kendell's 24:27 in 2016 and 24:40 in 2018. He broke his own course mark of 24:47, set in 2023.
Murray claimed sixth overall in 25:09, the best by a freshman on the course in school history and the fifth-best overall tally at Canisius.

Ryan Belanger took 25th in 26:20.
Nicholas Fringer rounded out the scoring five, finishing 33rd in 26:40, and junior
