"We are ultra-excited about this class as we have three young women who exemplify what it means to be Detroit Mercy Titans," said Haffey. "They are great teammates, incredibly hard workers, and ultra-tough. Each of them comes from a tremendous family who have instilled a work ethic and relational skills. This group is committed to being elite defenders, loves to play with pace, and is going to help continue elevating this program to a championship level. This is a very exciting day for the future of Detroit Mercy women's basketball."

Coach Haffey on Divine:
"Alonna is someone we recruited HARD to be a Titan. She exemplifies our style of play as we move into our new era of basketball. She is a phenomenal defender, picks up 94 feet, pressures the ball, uses her length well, and rebounds! Offensively, she has a great 1st step to the basket and in the last couple of years has taken off in her ability to score at all 3 levels. She is now a big-time threat from 3-point and pull-up range. We're getting an ultra-competitive WINNER in Alonna who fits our locker room and style of play perfectly. We are excited to welcome her and her incredible family to our Titan family."

The daughter of incredibly hard-working parents, Nina has been raised with a phenomenal work ethic and heart for others. As a basketball player, she defends 94 feet, using her foot speed and length to lock people up one-on-one. On the offensive end, she can hit shots from deep at a high clip, runs the team as a high-caliber leader, and has a super high IQ. We feel we got a sleeper in Nina and can't wait for Titan fans to see her play."
