Soraya Puerto-Khalil were named to the 2025 College Sports Communicators Academic (CSC) Academic All-District® NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Team.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Women's Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the pitch and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes women's soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

2025 Highlights:
• Tied for third on the team in goals (2) and tied for fourth in points (4) from her defensive position.
• Anchored the back line to a pair of shutouts on the season.
• Picked the perfect time for her second goal of the season as she connected on a header off a corner kick feed in the 83rd minute, lifting Detroit Mercy to a 2-2 draw against arch-rival Oakland (10/29).
• Scored first goal of the season at YSU (9/28).

• Fired a long-range missile one-timer from 15 yards out into the upper left 90 for the equalizer in a 2-2 draw vs arch-rival Oakland (10/29).
• Recorded first assist on the season vs Cleveland State (9/18).
• Posted a career-best six points with a pair of goals and two assists on Senior Night in UDM's 8-0 win vs Madonna (9/11).
