DETROIT (12/20/2025) -- All 11 Titans who suited up scored as the University of Detroit Mercy men's basketball team headed into Christmas break with a 91-60 win over Siena Heights on Saturday.
Sophomore
TJ Nadeau led the team with 20 points, going 6-of-7 from the field and 3-of-4 from three. Sophomore
Nate Johnson had 12 points, six rebounds, and two steals, and freshman
Keshawn Fisher added 12 points, six boards, two steals, a block, and an assist.
Detroit Mercy shot a season-high 53.4% (31-of-58) and outrebounded the Saints, 51-18, its biggest rebounding margin in nearly 10 years, with 17 of those on the offensive glass.
After a bit of a slow start, the Titans (5-7) led 7-5 before scoring 10 in a row as Fisher and Johnson had four points apiece.
That run was part of a 25-4 spurt over 14 minutes as the red, white and blue took a 32-9 lead with less than five minutes to go in the first half. UDM hit 8-of-14 shots in that stretch and held Siena Heights to just 1-of-13 with five turnovers.
Detroit Mercy had a 38-19 lead at the break, but Siena Heights hit a couple of shots and made it a 40-25 game.
That is when the Titans put any chances of a comeback away, going on a 17-4 charge for a 57-29 advantage at the 13:53 mark. Nadeau nailed a couple of 3-pointers, and senior
Orlando Lovejoy scored his 1,000th collegiate point in that run.
From there, Detroit Mercy would maintain a lead in the 20's and finish with the 31-point triumph.
Lovejoy ended with 10 points, three rebounds, three assists, and two steals, while senior
Legend Geeter had seven points and six boards. Redshirt freshman
Tyler Spratt had nine points, while freshman
Lance Stone added eight.
The Titan big men also saw sophomore
Ryan Kalambay grab a season-best and team-high seven. Junior
London Maiden had five rebounds and four points, and freshman
Xavier Istomin-Monroe pulled down five.
Detroit Mercy will have a few days off for Christmas before returning to conference play and visiting Youngstown State on Dec. 29.
