INDIANAPOLIS (2/24/2025) -- For the second time this season, freshman Nate Johnson turned some heads in the conference as he was tabbed the Under Armour Horizon League Freshman of the Week  on Monday.

Johnson was in double figures in both games as he tallied 14.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.0 assists, shooting 42.9% from the field. He started the week with 13 points and five boards against IU Indy before finishing with 16 points, four boards and a steal versus Cleveland State.

He is one of the top freshmen in the Horizon League, averaging 8.7 points and 4.5 rebounds, starting 28 of the team's 29 games. He has been in double figures 12 times on the year and has grabbed at least five rebounds on 14 occasions.

He was also honored by the league on Nov. 11 after starting his career with 10.3 points and 5.7 boards in home games against Cleary and Niagara and a road game at Loyola.

Johnson and the Titans will be back in action on Thursday as they visit Green Bay.
