Game 29 - #6 Detroit Mercy 73 vs #11 Milwaukee 62 - Mar. 4, 2025:
Sophomore Makayla Jackson picked the perfect time to have her best game in a Titan uniform as she poured in a career-high 25 points shooting a blistering 10-of-12 from the field, 2-for-3 from 3-point range and a perfect 3-for-3 from the free throw line to lead No. 6 Detroit Mercy to a 73-62 win over No. 11 Milwaukee in 2025 Barbasol #HLWBB Championship first round action on Tuesday night at Calihan Hall. Junior Myonna Hooper came up clutch scoring all of her 15 points in the second half on 6-of-10 shooting and 3-for-5 from long range with three assists. Jackson and Hooper combined for 12 points sparking a late 14-0 fourth quarter run which proved to be the difference. With the win, the Titans advanced to the quarterfinal round for the second consecutive season where they will travel to No. 3 Cleveland State on Thursday, Mar. 6 at 5:30 p.m.
 
Graduate student Emaia O'Brien added 13 points going 3-for-6 from long range with six rebounds and five assists while freshman Kailey Starks just missed a double-double with nine points and eight rebounds. Graduate student Jasmine Edwards chipped in with six points and five boards, and freshman Anna Lassan grabbed a career-best three steals defensively.
 
Hooper scored nine points in the third quarter as Detroit Mercy (15-14) led by six points, 53-47, heading into the fourth quarter. However, Milwaukee (8-24) ripped off a 10-2 run to open the fourth quarter to lead by two points, 57-55, at the 4:59 media timeout.  The Titans responded with a 14-0 run of their own as Hooper connected on two triples along with two layups and a pair of free throws from Jackson coupled with a tip-in from Starks, putting the Titans ahead for good at 69-57 with 1:47 left. O'Brien added a pair of free throws followed by a Starks layup that sealed the win.
 
#HLWBB Tournament History:
• Detroit Mercy is 29-31 overall in the #HLWBB Tournament.
• The Titans have advanced to the championship game seven times in program history (1997, 1999, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2012, 2017) with the lone championship coming in 1997.

O'Brien and McQueen were named All-League Third Team while Starks was named to the All-Freshman Team as voted on by the league's 11 head coaches and announced by the league office on Monday, Mar. 3. • Hooper was named Under Armour® Horizon League Player of the Week announced by the league office on Monday (11/11).
• The West Bloomfield, Mich. native, poured in a career-high 24 points on 7-for-9 shooting, 2-for-4 from 3-point range, and 8-for-11 from the free throw line, with four assists and two boards to lead Detroit Mercy to a solid 73-66 season-opening win over Bowling Green.
• UDM's win snapped a 10-game skid against Head Coach Kate Achter's alma mater and was the first win over the Falcons since a 67-62 decision on Nov. 20, 2002.

• Freshman Kailey Starks ranks fourth on the team in rebounds per game (3.2), and fourth in steals (26) and steals per game (1.0) coming off the bench.

What a Season it Was: After building a solid foundation during her first season, Head Coach Kate Achter (OCK-terr) begins her third season after leading an epic program turnaround during the 2023-24 campaign.
 
In just her second season, Achter completely transformed the program leading Detroit Mercy to a 17-16 (9-11 HL) record during the 2023-24 campaign, marking the first winning season since the 2016-17 season. The 12-win improvement over last year was the biggest turnaround in school history and one of the tops in the nation as the Titans won just 19 total games the previous six years combined. UDM's nine #HLWBB wins were also the most since the 2016-17 season, including wins over 2023-24 #HLWBB Regular Season champion Cleveland State and third-place finisher Purdue Fort Wayne.
 
Additional 2023-24 Season Milestones:
• No. 6 seed Detroit Mercy's 59-48 first-round win over No. 11 seed RMU was their first #HLWBB Championship first-round victory since the 2016-17 season.
• With the 64-59 win over IUPUI, Detroit Mercy recorded their 16th regular season, which is the highest win total since the 2016-17 season. The win also earned the No. 6 seed in the 2024 Barbasol #HLWBB Championship, which is the highest seed since the Titans were a No. 3 seed in the 2017 HL Tournament and advanced to the championship game against Green Bay.
• The Titans finished non-conference play with a 7-4 record for the first time in 31 years since the 1991-92 season including wins over Midwest programs in Bellarmine, Dayton, Eastern Michigan, and Western Michigan.
• Detroit Mercy went 11-5 to start the season for the first time in over two decades since the 1999-00 season. During that season, the Titans started 15-4 and ended 18-9 overall and 9-5 in MCC (Mid-Western Collegiate Conference) play.
• UDM's win over RMU (2/8) completed the series sweep over the Colonials for the second consecutive season.

Coaching Staff Promotions: Assistant Coach Kiefer Haffey was promoted to Associate Head Coach and Co-Recruiting Coordinator while Assistant Coaches Juanita Cochran and Andrea Cecil were elevated to Co-Recruiting Coordinator and Director of Player Development respectively.
 
Capaldi Joins the Staff: Antonio Capaldi joined the staff as an Assistant Coach will assist in player development and comes to the Titans after spending two seasons as an Assistant Coach on the women's basketball staff at Alma College in Michigan.
 
In his tenure at Alma, Capaldi aided in the development of three All-Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) selections in Taylor Sas (First Team and Second Team) and Brooke LeRoux (Second Team).
 
During the 2023-24 campaign, Capaldi helped lead the Scots to a 9-7 MIAA mark and 13-13 overall record with historic wins over two ranks opponents in No. 4 Hope College and No. 21 Wittenberg University for the first time since 1993.
 
Before Alma, Capaldi was an Assistant Coach with the Concordia (Mich.) women's basketball staff under then-Head Coach Haffey.

Game 28 - Detroit Mercy 67 at IU Indy 91 - Mar. 1, 2025:
Senior Katie Burton had quite the homecoming as the Fishers, Ind. native recorded her first career-double scoring a career-best 17 points on 7-for-14 shooting while grabbing a career-best 10 rebounds as Detroit Mercy fell 74-67 at IU Indy in a hard-fought regular season finale on Saturday afternoon.
 
Graduate student Emaia O'Brien was the second player in double figures with 11 points while matching a career-best five steals defensively. Freshmen Kailey Starks also reached double-figures for the sixth time this season with 10 points going a perfect 4-for-4 from the free throw line.
 
Sophomore Makayla Jackson added eight points followed by seven from junior Myonna Hooper. Graduate student Jasmine Edwards chipped in with six points, seven boards and two steals while fifth-year senior Aaliyah McQueen also had six points and two steals.

Fifth-year senior Aaliyah McQueen put on a show for her 23rd birthday scoring 23 points on 9-for-17 shooting and 3-for-6 from 3-point range while grabbing eight rebounds with three steals to lead Detroit Mercy to a crucial 81-75 #HLWBB win over Northern Kentucky in the home final at Calihan Hall on Thursday Night.
 
Junior Myonna Hooper added 14 points going 4-for-9 from the floor with four assists followed by graduate student Emaia O'Brien with 13 points and four helpers. Sophomore Makayla Jackson reached double figures for the third consecutive game with 12 points and four assists as Detroit Mercy (14-13, 8-11 HL) matched a season-second best 14 assists on 30 made baskets.
 
Game 26 - Detroit Mercy 62 at Purdue Fort Wayne 91 - Feb. 23, 2025:
For the second consecutive game, senior Katie Burton reached double figures, scoring a career-high 13 points on 6-for-8 shooting and 1-for-2 from long range with five rebounds. Sophomore Makayla Jackson also posted double figures for the second straight game with 13 points, four rebounds, and two steals as Detroit Mercy fell 91-62 at #HLWBB second-place Purdue Fort Wayne on Sunday afternoon.

O'Brien Reaches 1000 Career Point Milestone as Titans Fall to Youngstown State
Game 25 - Detroit Mercy 59 vs Youngstown State 67 - Feb. 20, 2025:
Graduate Student Emaia O'Brien scored a team-high 15 points on 6-of-13 shooting with five steals, becoming the second player to reach the 1000 career points milestone after fifth-year senior Aaliyah McQueen reached the mark earlier in the season. Despite the accomplishment, Detroit Mercy dropped a 67-59 defensive battle to Youngstown State on Thursday night at Calihan Hall.
 
McQueen had nine points while grabbing a season-second-best 15 rebounds. Detroit Mercy (13-12, 7-10 HL) had two other players in double figures, with senior Katie Burton scoring a career-high 12 points with a pair of 3-pointers and free throws. Sophomore Makayla Jackson also added 11 points, going 3-for-3 on the charity stripe. Junior Myonna Hooper also chipped in with five points.
 
Titans Grind Out Win Over Milwaukee to Snap Skid
Game 24 - Detroit Mercy 60 vs Green Bay 76 - Feb. 15, 2025:
Graduate Student Emaia O'Brien posted a team-high 22 points on 9-for-16 shooting and 3-for-9 from 3-point range on Senior Day. However, it was not enough as Detroit Mercy put forth a valiant effort but fell 76-60 to Green Bay on Saturday afternoon at Calihan Hall.
 
Fifth-year senior Aaliyah McQueen was the only other Titan in double figures with 10 points and five rebounds. Sophomore Makayla Jackson added seven points also with five boards. Senior Chanteese Craig matched a Titan career high with seven points going 5-for-6 from the free throw line. Graduate student Jasmine Edwards and senior Katie Burton also chipped in with five points each.
 
Game 23 - Detroit Mercy 50 vs Milwaukee 46 - Feb. 13, 2025:
It was an all-around defensive grind as Detroit Mercy outlasted Milwaukee, 50-46, to snap a five-game losing skid led by Makayla Jackson, who was the only player to reach double-figures with 11 points and four rebounds on Thursday night at Calihan Hall.
 
Since points were hard to come by, each player contributed as graduate student Katie Burton had nine points with seven rebounds while graduate student Emaia O'Brien also had nine points with five boards. Fifth-year senior Aaliyah McQueen had eight points with a team-high nine rebounds, with graduate student Jasmine Edwards also adding eight points with eight boards.
 
Game 22 - Detroit Mercy 55 at Cleveland State 72 - Feb. 2, 2025:
Graduate student Emaia O'Brien was on fire offensively, pouring in a career-high 25 points (19 in the second half) on 9-for-15 from the field while shooting a blistering career-best 6-for-10 from 3-point range with six boards as Detroit Mercy fell 72-55 at Cleveland State on Thursday afternoon at the Wolstein Center. Fifth-year student Aaliyah McQueen was the only other Titan in double figures with 10 points. Sophomore Makayla Jackson added five points, along with four points from freshman Anna Lassan. Graduate student Jasmine Edwards grabbed a team-high eight rebounds.
 
Game 21 - Detroit Mercy 63 at Oakland 77 - Feb. 2, 2025:
Detroit Mercy had three players in double figures, led by fifth-year senior Aaliyah McQueen scoring a team-high 19 points with seven rebounds, followed by graduate student Emaia O'Brien with 14 points on 4-for-9 shooting from long range as Detroit Mercy battled but couldn't get over the hump falling 77-63 to arch-rival Oakland in Metro Series action on Saturday afternoon at the OU Credit Union O'rena.
 
Graduate student Jasmine Edwards posted a Titan career-high 10 points with six boards and four steals while sophomore Makayla Jackson added nine points with six boards.
 
Game 20 - Detroit Mercy 49 at Northern Kentucky 79 - Jan. 29, 2025:
Freshman Kailey Starks reached double figures for the second consecutive game with 11 points on 4-of-7 shooting and 3-for-4 from the free throw line as Detroit Mercy struggled offensively in the first quarter, leading to a 79-49 setback at Northern Kentucky in #HLWBB action on Wednesday night at Truist Arena. Junior Myonna Hooper and senior Alize Tripp added seven points each, followed by five points from freshman Anna Lassan.
 
Northern Kentucky's (8-14, 5-7 HL) blistering start in the first quarter proved to be the difference as the Norse shot 10-for-15 (66.7) and 6-for-9 (66.7) from 3-point range. Conversely, Detroit Mercy (12-8, 6-6 HL) went 3-for-18 and 0-for-5 from long range to trail 29-6.
 
McQueen Reaches 1000 career points milestone as Titans Fall to Robert Morris
Game 19 - Detroit Mercy 64 vs Robert Morris 77 - Jan. 25, 2025:
Hitting her first jumper of the game, fifth-year senior Aaliyah McQueen reached the 1000 career points milestone, finishing the game with 17 points, five rebounds, and five steals. Graduate student Emaia O'Brien led the way with a game-high 19 points with three assists and three steals. However, it was not enough, as the Titans dropped a 77-65 decision to Robert Morris on Saturday afternoon at Calihan Hall.
 
Freshman Kailey Starks was the third player in double figures with 13 points, shooting a career-best 3-for-5 from 3-point range. Sophomore Makayla Jackson chipped in with seven points, going 5-for-6 from the free throw line, while senior Katie Burton and freshman Anna Lassan both made their first career start for the Titans (12-7, 6-5 HL), scoring four and two points, respectively.
 
Game 18 - Detroit Mercy 65 vs Purdue Fort Wayne 72 - Jan. 22, 2025:
Detroit Mercy had four players in double figures led by fifth-year senior Aaliyah McQueen, who posted her fifth double-double of the season, scoring a game-high 21 points with 11 rebounds as the Titans fought tooth and nail to the end before coming up short against #HLWBB leader Purdue Fort Wayne on Wednesday night at Calihan Hall. McQueen is just one point shy from reaching the 1000 career points milestone. Graduate student Emaia O'Brien added 14 points, going 8-for-10 from the free throw line, while senior Katie Burton posted a career-high 10 points on 4-for-7 shooting from the field. Sophomore Makayla Jackson was the final player in double figures also scoring 10 points with three assists and two steals.
 
Freshmen Maya Anderson and Anna Lassan chipped in with four points each. Purdue Fort Wayne (15-5, 10-0 HL) entered the game as the league's top-shooting 3-point team but Detroit Mercy (12-6, 6-4 HL) was able to hold the Mastodons to 5-for-21 (23.8%) from long range.
 
Burton's Buzzer-Beating Layup Moves Titans Past Milwaukee
Game 17 - Detroit Mercy 54 at Milwaukee 52 - Jan. 18, 2025:
With 16.2 seconds left and the game tied at 52-52, fifth-year senior Aaliyah McQueen stole a pass on the low block and was off to the races finding senior Katie Burton streaking down the court, who connected on the game-winning buzzer-beating layup with .01 seconds on the clock giving Detroit Mercy a thrilling 54-52 win at Milwaukee on Saturday afternoon at the Klotsche Center. This is UDM's first road win at Milwaukee since Jan. 28, 2016, and the Titans are 12-5 overall to start the season for the first time in 28 years since the 1996-97 season.
 
The layup matched Burton's career-high with nine points while grabbing a career-best nine rebounds. Graduate student Emaia O'Brien led all scorers with 18 points, on 6-for-11 shooting, 3-for-5 from 3-point range, and 3-for-4 from the free throw line. McQueen had an off-scoring night with six points but had a solid all-around game, grabbing six rebounds while matching a career-best six assists and a career-best four blocks with three steals defensively. Sophomore Makayla Jackson and freshman Kailey Starks each had seven points, while freshman Anna Lassan had three points off three free throws.
 
Game 16 - Detroit Mercy 47 at Green Bay 70 - Jan. 16, 2025:
Graduate student Emaia O'Brien posted a team-high 15 points, while fifth-year senior Aaliyah McQueen added nine points as Detroit Mercy had trouble solving Green Bay's defense as the Titans fell 70-47 on Thursday night at the Kress Center.
 
Detroit Mercy (11-5, 5-3 HL) hung tough through most of the game but could not overcome two crucial runs by Green Bay (14-5, 7-1 HL) in the second and fourth quarters, which proved to be the difference. Sophomore Makayla Jackson had seven points, graduate student Jasmine Edwards had four points, and senior Alize Tripp and freshman Anna Lassan both connected on a 3-point bucket. Freshman Maya Anderson and senior Katie Burton had two points each to round out scoring for the Titans.
 
Achter Earns 100th Career Win as Titans Take Out Arch-Rival Oakland in Metro Series Action
Game 15 - Detroit Mercy 67 vs Oakland 59 - Jan. 11, 2025:
Fifth-year senior Aaliyah McQueen's second consecutive double-double was a sweet one as she poured in 21 points with a Titan career-high 17 rebounds against her former team to lead Detroit Mercy to a 67-59 Metro Series win over arch-rival Oakland securing Head Coach Kate Achter's 100th career-win. Graduate student Emaia O'Brien also scored a game-high 23 points on 4-for-9 shooting from long range and 7-for-11 from the free throw line.
McQueen and O'Brien accounted for 44 Detroit Mercy's (11-4, 5-2 HL) 67 points and this was the second game of the season with them each scoring 20 points or more. Junior Myonna Hooper added nine points, while freshman Kailey Starks and sophomore Makayla Jackson each chipped in with six points.
 
Game 14 - Detroit Mercy 64 at Wright State 67 - Jan. 8, 2025:
Detroit Mercy battled back from a 10-point halftime deficit with a second-half rally, but came up short as junior Myonna Hooper's game-tying 3-point bid at the buzzer rimmed out as the Titans fell 67-64 at Wright State on Wednesday night at the Nutter Center.
 
Fifth-year senior Aaliyah McQueen had another great performance, scoring a game-high 24 points with 11 rebounds, securing her third double-double of the season while coming up short of a triple-double with six steals defensively. Detroit Mercy mounted a third-quarter charge led by Fifth-year senior Aaliyah McQueen's 16 points and 15 points from graduate student Emaia O'Brien, but the comeback fell short as the Titans suffered a 72-62 setback to Cleveland State for their first #HLWBB and home loss of the season on Sunday afternoon at Calihan Hall. Junior Myonna Hooper added nine points, while Makayla Jackson had a solid all-around game, matching a career-best five steals while dishing a career-high six assists along with five points.
 
Detroit Mercy Holds Off IU Indy Moving to 4-0 in #HLWBB Play for the First Time Since the 1996-97 Season
Game 12 - Detroit Mercy 67 vs IU Indy 59 - Jan. 1, 2025:
Four players reached double figures, led by junior Myonna Hooper, who poured in a game-high 19 points on 5-of-8 shooting, 3-for-6 from long range, and 6-for-8 from the free throw line as Detroit Mercy held off a late charge from IU Indy for a 67-59 win on New Year's Day at Calihan Hall. The Titans are off to a 4-0 start in #HLWBB play for the first time since the 1996-97 season and 10-2 overall for the first time in 45 years since the 1979-80 season.
 
Graduate Student Emaia O'Brien scored 14 points, going a perfect 4-for-4 from the charity stripe, while fifth-year senior Aaliyah McQueen also added 14 points with nine rebounds. Sophomore Makayla Jackson rounded out the double-digit scoring with 13 points on 6-of-7 shooting with a career-best five steals defensively giving her nine steals over the last two games.
 
Titans Take Down RMU for Third Straight Road Win
Game 11 - Detroit Mercy 66 at Robert Morris 58 - Dec. 28, 2024:
Graduate student Emaia O'Brien scored a team-high 19 points to lead Detroit Mercy to a third consecutive road win with a 66-58 victory over Robert Morris on Saturday afternoon inside the UPMC Events Center. With the win, the Titans move to 3-0 in #HLWBB play for the second consecutive season with a 9-2 overall record to start the season for the first time in 43 years since the 1981-82 season.
 
O'Brien reached double figures for the 10th time this season, shooting 6-of-11 from the field and 5-of-6 from three-point range with three steals. Fifth-year guard Aaliyah McQueen added 13 points, grabbing a game-high eight rebounds, while sophomore Makayla Jackson chipped in 11 points on 5-for-7 shooting, matching a career-best four steals, helping UDM to their fourth straight meeting over the Colonials (5-8, 1-3 HL). For the game, Detroit Mercy shot 20-of-48 from the field and a blistering 10-of-21 (47.6) from three-point range while going 16-of-22 from the charity stripe with 12 steals defensively.

Fresh off a 24-point performance on Wednesday, Fifth-year senior Aaliyah McQueen took it to another level, dropping a huge double-double, scoring a Titan career-high 30 points on 11-for-15 shooting, 4-for-5 from 3-point range and a perfect 4-for-4 from the free throw line while grabbing 11 rebounds with two steals and a block to lead Detroit Mercy to a thrilling 79-71 double-overtime win at Valparaiso on Saturday afternoon.
UDM had four total players in double figures as freshman Kailey Starks poured in a career-high 16 points, going 6-for-11 from the field, just missing a double-double with nine boards and three steals. Graduate student Emaia O'Brien also just missed a double-double with 14 points, nine rebounds, and four steals defensively, while sophomore Makayla Jackson added 10 points on 4-of-8 shooting.

Game 9 - Detroit Mercy 65 at Youngstown State 58 - Dec. 18, 2024:
Fifth-year senior Aaliyah McQueen graduate student Emaia O'Brien put on quite a show as they combined for 44 points, leading Detroit Mercy to a 65-58 come-from-behind win over Youngstown State in #HLWBB action on Wednesday night at the Zidian Family Arena at the Beeghly Center. This marked the first road win of the season and moved the Titans to 7-2 to start the season for the first time in 43 years since the 1981-82 season.
 
McQueen just missed a double-double scoring a Titan career-high 24 points on 8-for-15 from the field, 6-for-7 from the free throw line, with a pair of triples while grabbing nine rebounds with three blocks. O'Brien added 20 points going 9-for-12 from the charity stripe with a triple. McQueen and O'Brien's performances marked the first time a tandem of Titan players each scored 20 points or more since Anja Marinkovic (20) and Nicole Urbanick (20) vs. UIC on Dec. 31, 2016. Senior Katie Burton added five points with sophomore Makayla Jackson chipping in with four points.
 
Game 8 - Detroit Mercy 54 at No. 20 Michigan 100 - Dec. 14, 2024:
Fifth-year senior Aaliyah McQueen reached double figures for the fifth straight game, scoring a team-high 15 points while graduate student Emaia O'Brien also hit double figures for the fifth consecutive time adding 11 points going 8-for-9 from the free throw line as Detroit Mercy suffered their second loss of the season to a Big Ten opponent with a 100-54 setback at No. 20 Michigan on Saturday afternoon at the Crisler Center.
 
Senior Katie Burton made her season and Titan debut, chipping in with nine points. Freshmen Anna Lassan added a new career-high eight points hitting a 3-pointer while going a perfect 3-for-3 from the free throw line.

Game 7 - Detroit Mercy 81 vs Cleary 55 - Dec. 8, 2024:
Detroit Mercy had four players reach double figures, led by graduate student Emaia O'Brien, who was hot from behind the arc, going 4-for-6, scoring a Titan career-high 22 points all in the first half. She fell just two points shy of her collegiate career-high of 24 with four steals defensively as the Titans rolled by Cleary, 81-55, on Sunday afternoon at Calihan Hall. With the win, the Titans are off to a 6-1 start for the first time in 45 years since the 1979-80 season.
 
Graduate student Alize Tripp posted a Titan career-high 16 points on 6-for-8 shooting, 2-for-3 from long range, and 2-for-2 from the free throw line with three assists and three steals. Sophomore Makayla Jackson posted 14 points, while fifth-year senior Aaliyah McQueen chipped in with 10 points, going a perfect 4-for-4 from the free throw line while matching a career-best six assists.
 
Senior Chanteese Craig added a season and Titan career-best seven points followed by four points from freshman Maya Anderson, while senior Latifa Amzil scored her first point of the season with two and added a pair of helpers. All three players each grabbed four rebounds. Freshman Kailey Starks grabbed a career-high eight rebounds boards giving her 15 over the past two games.

Sophomore Makayla Jackson posted a career-high 18 points on 7-for-9 shooting while fifth-year senior Aaliyah McQueen and graduate student Emaia O'Brien each added 18 points to complete the trifecta leading Detroit Mercy to a 67-56 win over Wright State snapping a 14-game skid to the Raiders on Wednesday night in #HLWBB opening action. With the win, the Titans are off to a 5-1 start for the first time in 39 years since the 1985-86 season.
 
O'Brien went a perfect 3-for-3 from the 3-point line, with two being fouled on the shot, leading to one four-point play. McQueen also grabbed eight boards with a Titan career-best six steals, just missing her career-high by one. Freshman Kailey Starks chipped in with five points grabbing a career-high seven boards with a career-best three assists.
 
Titans Clip Eagles Moving to 4-1 on the Season for the First Time in 38 Years
Game 5 - Detroit Mercy 72 vs Eastern Michigan 61 - Nov. 26, 2024:
For the first time in 38 years since the 1986-87 season, Detroit Mercy is 4-1 to start the season after a convincing 72-61 win over in-state rival Eastern Michigan on Tuesday night at Calihan Hall. Fifth-year senior Aaliyah McQueen posted a Titan career-high 19 points on 8-for-17 shooting while just missing a double-double with eight rebounds. With the win, the Titans also completed the season sweep of all three opponents from the Mid-American Conference (MAC) in EMU, Western Michigan, and Bowling Green.
 
Graduate Student Emaia O'Brien added 12 points on 5-for-10 shooting from the field with four assists and three steals. Sophomore Makayla Jackson was the third player in double figures with 10 points also shooting 5-for-10 from the field just missing her career-high of 12 points. Junior Myonna Hooper matched a career-best dishing out six assists with five boards.
 
Graduate Student Alize Tripp also added her Titan career-best with nine points, going 3-for-4 from 3-point range. Graduate Student Jasmine Edwards and freshman Kailey Starks each had six points while Maddie Diabate added four. Freshman Addisen Mastriano posted her first collegiate points with four and added two assists.
 
Titans Buck Broncos Behind Late Fourth Quarter Run
Game 4 - Detroit Mercy 72 vs Western Michigan 63 - Nov. 23, 2024:
With Detroit Mercy trailing 53-52 and 6:11 remaining in the fourth quarter, UDM went on a 16-4 run to close out Western Michigan, securing a 72-63 win to stay unbeaten at Calihan Hall on Saturday afternoon. After going scoreless in the first half, junior Myonna Hooper came up clutch, scoring all eight of her points in the fourth quarter, including converting two-and-1 layups with ensuing free throw makes to spark the Titan run. In addition to the late run, Detroit Mercy (3-1) shot a season-best 10-for-17 (58.8%) from 3-point range, which proved to be the difference.

Graduate Student Jasmine Edwards had a solid all-around game once again, just missing a double-double with nine points and eight rebounds with two assists, three steals, and two blocks defensively. Freshmen Kailey Starks also posted her second consecutive impressive effort with nine points, four boards, two assists, and two steals. Senior Alize Tripp chipped in with six points while freshman Anna Lassan connected on her first collegiate 3-pointer.
 
Game 3 - Detroit Mercy 44 at Michigan State 101 - Nov. 20, 2024:
Freshman Kailey Starks had a solid breakout game against some tough competition, scoring a team-high 13 points on 4-of-6 shooting from the floor and 5-for-6 from the free throw line with four steals defensively as Detroit Mercy suffered their first lost of the season with a 101-44 setback at Michigan State on Wednesday night at the Breslin Center.
 
Fifth-year senior Aaliyah McQueen added seven points with six rebounds, while senior Alize Tripp chipped in with six points, going a perfect 4-4 from the charity stripe. Sophomore Makayla Jackson also added six points, with freshman Anna Lassan scoring five points, going 3-for-4 from the free throw line.
 
Four Titans Score in Double Figures in Win Over Bellarmine
Game 2 - Detroit Mercy 73 vs Bellarmine 71 - Nov. 16, 2024:
Detroit Mercy had four players reach double figures, led by fifth-year senior Aaliyah McQueen and junior Myonna Hooper with 16 each followed by graduate student Emaia O'Brien with 11 points and sophomore Makayla Jackson with 10 points as the Titans defeated Bellarmine 73-71 handing the Knights their first loss of the season on Saturday afternoon.
 
Graduate student Jasmine Edwards just missed a double-double with nine points and 11 rebounds. Detroit Mercy (2-0) was active on the defensive end grabbing 16 steals with McQueen and Jackson having four each. The Titans also posted 29 points off 21 Bellarmine (3-1) turnovers.
 
Titans Hold Off Bowling Green to Secure Season Opening Win
Game 1 - Detroit Mercy 73 vs Bowling Green 66 - Nov. 8, 2024:
Junior Myonna Hooper poured in a career-high 24 points on 7-for-9 shooting, 2-for-4 from 3-point range, 8-for-11 from the free throw line, with four assists to lead Detroit Mercy to a solid 73-66 win over Bowling Green in home opening action on Friday night at Calihan Hall. The Titans' win snapped a 10-game skid against Head Coach Kate Achter's alma mater and was the first win over the Falcons since a 67-62 decision on Nov. 20, 2002.

For the second consecutive season, the game was part of Field Trip Day, where the Titans hosted students from multiple grade schools from the Metro Detroit area to give back to the community.
