Wallace Leads Six Top-Five Efforts At Oakland

Freshman Luke Bracket was fifth in the hurdles.

ROCHESTER, Mich. (4/19/2025) -- Freshman James Wallace posted a win, and five other performances claimed top five as the University of Detroit Mercy men's track and field team concluded the Elaine Leigh Track Invite on Saturday.

Wallace ran a career-low 10.70 for first in the 100-meters and also ran a leg on the third place 4x100.

Junior Jaden McKenzie placed third in the 400m in 48.68, seventh in the 200m in 22.15, and was also on the 4x100.

Junior Anthony Yip earned fifth in the discus with a mark of 45.44. Also taking fifth were freshmen Andrew Drakos in the 400-meter hurdles (56.72) and Luke Bracket in the 100mH (15.55).

The Titans will now prepare for a pair of meets next week at Siena Heights and Grand Valley.
