DETROIT (7/31/2025) -- The University of Detroit Mercy men's lacrosse team is retooling its roster after a run to the NEC Championship, and with a great off-season of conditioning underway, the Titans have announced their 17-man recruiting class.
The class comprises 16 freshmen and a transfer, featuring student-athletes from Michigan, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Minnesota, Nevada, North Carolina, Ohio, and Canada.
"I am very excited to announce our incoming recruiting class!" said head coach Charlie Hayes '18. "This class will bring a lot of talent, skill, athleticism, and toughness to the program. In addition to their on-field attributes, this is a group of student-athletes who reflect the values, work ethic, toughness, and competitive drive we are building in this program. Each of them brings unique talent and character, and I'm confident they will help lay the foundation for our future success, both on and off the field."
Detroit Mercy finished its past season with six wins - the most since 2019 - and made its fourth trip to a conference championship game. During the year, UDM also tied a school record with five-straight victories.
