DETROIT (8/28/2025) -- The University of Detroit Mercy men's basketball team now knows the conference path that awaits it as the Horizon League released the entire league ledger on Thursday.
UDM announced its non-conference schedule last month with match-ups at UIC, Notre Dame, Toledo, Niagara, Michigan State, and DePaul all on the docket. The home opener will be against Cleary on Nov. 11, while the Titans will also host Eastern Michigan on Nov. 18 and Siena Heights on Dec. 20.
After playing eight non-conference games - including three at home - in November, the Titans will start league action in the Motor City against IU Indy on Dec. 3. UDM will then play three conference road games the rest of the month with stops at Cleveland State (Dec. 6), Purdue Fort Wayne (Dec. 14), and Youngstown State (Dec.29).
The Titans will be home a lot once the New Year arrives, with six of the eight contests in January taking place in Calihan Hall. Detroit Mercy will face Robert Morris on Jan. 2, Wright State on Jan. 9, and Cleveland State on Jan. 11, before embarking on its lone road trip of the month to NKU (Jan. 15) and IU Indy (Jan. 17). The back end of the month has Purdue Fort Wayne in town on the Jan 21, #MetroSeries-rival Oakland on the Jan. 24 and NKU on the Jan 30.
February will prepare the Titans for the postseason with five road affairs, including a visit to the Badger State to battle Milwaukee and Green Bay on Jan. 4 and Jan. 7, and a voyage to Wright State on Feb. 12. The last homestand of the season has Youngstown State (Feb. 15), Milwaukee (Feb.20) and Green Bay (Feb. 22), while the red, white and blue will conclude the year at Robert Morris (Feb. 25) and at Oakland (Feb. 28).
Six letterwinners and five starters return from last year's team - the most of any team in the Horizon League - while UDM added eight new student-athletes to the talented roster.
