Kiefer Haffey. Davis comes to the Titans from the Iowa women's basketball program
'"We're thrilled to announce Tania's addition to our staff. She has had elite success as a player on the grassroots level, high school level, and collegiately," said Haffey. "Beyond her time as a player, she immediately jumped into the coaching ranks and has developed into a phenomenal young coach. She has experience working for national title-contending coaching staffs and has spent time developing some of the best players in our game today. She will be a tremendous addition to our staff."
"It's an incredible opportunity to be part of Coach Haffey's staff," said Davis. "I'm eager to get started, bring energy every day, and help push our student-athletes to be the best on and off the court."
Before joining the Titans, Davis spent two years as an Assistant Coach and Director of Player Development at Iowa, where she was instrumental in the Hawkeyes' run to the 2024 NCAA Final Four and National Title game appearance and was named to the 2025 Thirty Under 30 List by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA). She assisted the staff in the day-to-day activities and helped develop student-athletes into strong leaders and role models in the Iowa City community. She also coached for the Michigan Crossover AAU program in the summer of 2025.
Prior to her time at Iowa, Davis was an assistant coach for Omaha women's basketball from 2021 to 2023. During her time with the Mavericks, the program won 22 games and advanced to the Summit League Championship in 2022-23.
Davis had a two-year stint as a women's basketball Graduate Assistant at Clemson, where she oversaw the team managers, assisting with individual workout plans, recruit visits, and film breakdown. Davis earned a Master's Degree in Athletic Leadership from Clemson in 2021 and a Bachelor's Degree in Health and Human Psychology from Iowa in 2019.
Davis was a four-year standout student athlete for the Iowa women's basketball team (2015-2019), earning All-Big Ten Honorable Mention honors in 2019 and being named to the 2016 Big Ten All-Freshman Team. As a senior, Davis helped lead the Hawkeyes to a Sweet Sixteen appearance and became the 36th Hawkeye to reach 1,000 career points, ending her career with 1,007 points.
Davis, a native of Flint, Mich., was also a four-year standout for Goodrich High School, earning Michigan Miss Basketball by the Basketball Coaches Association of Michigan and the Detroit Free Press in 2015. She led the squad to back-to-back Class B state titles as a freshman and sophomore (2012, 2013), regional finals as a junior (2014), and semifinals as a senior (2015). Davis finished her career as Goodrich's all-time leading scorer and assists leader, helping the team to a 100-8 record, which included an undefeated record against Genesee Area Conference Red Division opponents, four conference championships, four district titles, and three regional championships.
