Titans Honor Mark Misko '87 With Annual Titan Reggie Spirit Of Detroit Mercy Award

Mark Misko (L) received the Titan Reggie Award from a member of his family.
DETROIT (1/26/2026) -- Over the weekend, the University of Detroit Mercy kept the spirit alive for one of the most recognizable alumni in school history as the annual Titan Reggie Spirit Of Detroit Mercy Award was presented to Mark Misko '87.

The award was presented to him with family present during the men's basketball game against Oakland.

A 1987 graduate of U-D with a degree in business, Misko has attended games at Calihan Hall since he was a kid in the 70's and continues to show his Titan red, white, and blue today in all sports. He has been a staple at home men's and women's basketball games, traveled to road games to support his alma mater, and has been a very active donor to the entire athletic department.

The Titan Reggie Spirit of Detroit Mercy Award was named after the famed alum and one of the greatest and most popular fans, Reginald Hall, who passed away on Dec. 9, 2015, following a car accident.

The award was established during the 2016-17 basketball season and is presented each year to a person who embodies the late Reggie Hall's "Titan spirit," which includes supporting teams at home and on the road through good times and bad, as Reggie did for many years.

Former U-D baseball coach Bob Miller - Hall's baseball coach at the University - was the first to receive the accolade in 2018.
