Men's & Women's Cross Country Collect USTFCCCA Team Academic Awards

The Titans were honored on both sides.

NEW ORLEANS, LA. (2/2/2026) -- The University of Detroit Mercy men's and women's cross country teams earned another award for their hard work in the classroom as the Titans were tabbed All-Academic by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

To qualify as a USTFCCCA All-Academic Cross Country Team, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period.

The men posted a team GPA of 3.53, the second-highest mark in the Horizon League, while the women tallied a 3.52, the fourth-highest GPA in the conference.
