The second episode of the Remember The Titans Podcast features a goal scorer, an Emmy Award winner, and now a content creator.
Nina Carter '13 was a forward and midfielder on the women's soccer team from 2009-12, playing 69 career games and scoring 32 points on 14 goals and four assists. She was selected to the Horizon League All-Newcomer Team as a freshman, leading the team with three goals.
As a sophomore, she tallied five goals and two assists. As a junior, she dealt with a broken wrist but still saw action in 14 games, netting two goals and an assist, and capped her career with four markers and a helper.
The team won 31 games during her time, rising from a 3-13-2 rookie mark to 12-6-2 as a junior, with three trips to the league semifinals.
After college, she worked as a news anchor and reporter in Bismarck, North Dakota, and Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she won an Emmy as a multimedia journalist. Her career took her to Discovery Communications in Washington, D.C., and now she owns her own multimedia company in San Diego, California, called Nina Carter Productions.
