Kailee Davis nailed a 3-pointer with nine seconds left, pulling the Titans within two points at 74-72. IU Indy then missed both ensuing free throws, giving UDM a chance, but Davis' game-winning 3-point attempt at the buzzer was off the mark.

The final two minutes of the fourth quarter were back and forth, with the lead changing hands after Mastriano split a pair of free throws, tying the game at 66-66 with 2:09 left. After the Jags moved ahead 68-66 on a pair of free throws, McQueen came up clutch, hitting a jumper and was fouled. She made the ensuing free throw, moving the Titans ahead 69-68. IU Indy then hit a layup and added another after a Davis missed layup to take a 72-69 lead with 16 ticks left to set the stage for the dramatic ending.
UDM opened the third quarter on a 7-1 run off a pair of layups from Jackson and three free throws from Lassan and Hooper to pull within a point at 42-41. Hooper then hit a jumper, followed by four free throws from Burrell, which increased the run to 13-5, giving the Titans a 47-46 lead by the 4:48 media timeout. The Jags outscored UDM 11-8 to close out the frame to lead by a bucket, 57-55, going into the fourth.
In the first half, the first quarter was evenly matched as the Titans shot 6-for-13 (46.2%) while the Jags hit 6-for-12 (50.0%) to lead 17-15.
IU Indy's hot shooting continued in the second quarter, especially from long range, as they hit 4-for-5 (80.0%) and 7-for-12 (58.3%) overall. However, Mastriano kept UDM close, scoring 12 points on 5-for-8 shooting and 2-for-2 from the free-throw line for the half as the Titans trailed by seven points, 41-34, at the break.
