Trio Of Titans Earn Horizon League Honors

Senior Orlando Lovejoy (L), Tyler Spratt (C) and TJ Nadeau (R) were all honored by the Horizon League.
INDIANAPOLIS (3/2/2026) -- Senior Orlando Lovejoy took home the highest accolade in First Team All-League, while sophomore TJ Nadeau was named to the Third Team as the Horizon League released its postseason awards on Monday.

Lovejoy also earned a spot on the All-Defensive Team, and redshirt freshman Tyler Spratt was selected to the All-Freshmen squad.

It is the first time the Titans have had multiple people on the All-HL team since 2021 when Antoine Davis was First Team and Bul Kuol was Third Team. The All-Defensive selection is also the first since Chris Brandon in 2020.

Lovejoy enjoyed a tremendous season for the Titans, ranking in the top 10 in the HL in scoring (15.4), assists (3.7), steals (1.7), and free-throw percentage (88.6%), as well as 12th in field-goal percentage (44.9%). He has scored in double figures in 17 of the 20 conference games and is also tied for sixth in the league with seven 20-point games.

He scored a career-high 33 points in the home win over Green Bay and just had 29 in the road win at Oakland, where he was 13-of-16 from the field, tied for the second most made field goals in the conference. Earlier in the year, he had a career-best eight steals in the home win over Cleveland State, the most by a HL player on the season.

Nadeau showed no sophomore slump as he ranks 19th in the conference in scoring at 13.6 per night. He also has a team-high 64 triples, 11th in the league, and is ninth with 2.3 3-pointers per game. He shot nearly 50.0% from the field on the year, hitting on 48.7% overall and 47.5% from behind the arc, as well as 85.3% at the free-throw line.

He netted double figures in 19 of his 28 games, and tallied eight 20-point outings, tied for eighth in HL. Some of his best efforts came with a career-high 28 points and five assists in the win at Oakland, 26 in the victory at Cleveland State, 25 in the home triumph versus Milwaukee, and 24 at Notre Dame.

Spratt improved tremendously from the start of the season, averaging 10.0 points and 3.8 rebounds overall, including 12.6 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 2.1 assists in league play, shooting 46.8% from the field and 43.3% from the outside against conference opponents. He also drained 50 3-pointers and was 17th in the league at 1.7 triples per game.

He scored in double figures 13 times in league action, including 21 points and six rebounds against Oakland and a season-high 28 points with six rebounds and six assists, hitting eight treys, in the win over NKU.

Detroit Mercy will return to action on Wednesday when the Titans host Milwaukee in the first round of the Barbasol Horizon League Basketball Championship, with tip-off set for 7:00 p.m. at Calihan Hall.
