Thundercloud, St. Clair Earn NEC Players Of The Week

Redshirt junior Cooper St. Clair (L) and Marcus Thundercloud (R) were named the NEC Players of the Week.
EDISON, N.J. (4/13/2026) -- The University of Detroit Mercy men's lacrosse team tallied a huge home win to stay in the hunt for a playoff spot and two Titans helped spearhead the victory as redshirt junior Cooper St. Clair and redshirt sophomore Marcus Thundercloud were tabbed with Northeast Conference Player of the Week honors.

St. Clair was named the NEC Defensive Player of the Week for the first time in his career, while Thundercloud was donned with the Player of the Week for the first time after registering four Rookie of the Week accolades last season.

St. Clair posted 16 saves and four ground balls in the 10-8 win over Cleveland State. He now has nine games on the year with double-digit saves, has allowed less than 10 goals in four of UDM's five NEC games and has made 154 saves on the season, ninth in school history for a single season.

Thundercloud recorded a career-tying four goals and had five points in the victory. He had two goals in each half as he registered his sixth career hat tricks and fourth career game with four goals.

The Titans will be back in action on Saturday as they visit Mercyhurst.
