2011: Saw playing time in three games in her freshman season... Recorded a shot on goal in the game at Marygrove (Aug. 31) in 31 minutes... Posted another shot against Madonna (Sept. 8) and a season-high 33 minutes.

Prior to Detroit: Played exclusively for the Michigan Phoenix Elite (U-18) her first three years of high school... With the Phoenix, she has had the opportunity to play against many great soccer players at a variety of national tournaments... In the classroom, she took home Academic All-Conference recognition all three years.
 
Personal: Daughter of Mike and Tina Borek... Has three brothers, Kevin who attends Central Michigan, Kyle who is at Oakland University, and also Tyler... Also earned three letters on the track team in high school... A talented musician who can play the piano, clarinet, alto sax, flute, and the violin in addition to being a drum major and playing in the marching band her junior and senior years... Was part of student council (four years), National Honors Society (three years), and was named Class President and also Homecoming Queen...  A pre-med major.
