2014: Started and played in all 49 games at shortstop... Named to the All-Horizon League Second Team... Led team in several hitting categories, including batting average (.331), hits (47), runs (22), walks (17), doubles (nine) and triples (two)... Also led squad in on-base percentage at .406 and fielding assists with 91... Added two home runs, 15 RBI and six steals... Began season on a six-game hitting streak (8-for-20, .400)... Had a team-best 18-game hit streak (.406, 26-64) from 4/9-5/3... Posted eight multi-hit games... Went 2-for-4 with double, RBI and run in the second game of a doubleheader against Butler (2/8)... 2011-12: Redshirted for her first season as a Titan due to transfer rules... Named to the UDM Athletic Director's Honor Roll.
2010-11: As a freshman at Eastern Michigan, started 27 of 29 games collecting 15 hits, two home runs and eight RBI's over the course of the year.
High School: A four-year softball letterwinner at Cabrini... Helped her team to a Division 3 State Championship in 2007, and also Division 3 runner-up finishes in both 2008 and 2010... Took home All-District, All-Region, All-Downriver and All-League honors all four years... Garnered All-Catholic League status three times and All-State twice... She was named a Division 3 Miss Softball Nominee finishing as the runner-up in 2010... Her freshman year was recognized as the Detroit News Dream Team Catcher... Finished high school with a career .450 average and 160 RBI while committing just one error over four seasons.
Personal: Born in Trenton... Daughter of Tina and Bill Kostich... Also was a four-time All-League standout in volleyball at Cabrini... Father Bill was drafted by the Seattle Mariners organization and he spent six combined years playing for the Seattle Mariners and Detroit Tigers' organizations... Major is accounting.
