Prior to Detroit: Spent four years playing for head coach Rich Ludwig at Our Lady of the Lakes in the Detroit Catholic League ... She garnered All-District and All-Region her final three years of playing and an All-State honorable mention her senior year including helping the Anchors to a MHSAA Division 4 State Championship in 2010 ... In 2008 and 2009 her team was a finalist in both the district and regional finals ... In 2008, she was named to the All-Catholic League team and was part of a team that was a Catholic League finalist ... Was recognized academically on the All-District Academic team in her final three years ... Was one of four Valedictorians in her 2011 class.
