2014-15: Named to UDM Athletic Director's Honor Roll ... Selected Honorable Mention All-Conference.

2013-14: Finished the season with 23 victories, second-most on women's epee squad ... Placed 17th at NCAA Midwest Regional Championships (3/8) ... Finished 21st out of 61 fencers in the epee, recording a 6-2 mark at Midwest Fencing Conference Championships (3/1) ... Had 6-6 mark at the UDM Fencing Invitational (2/25) ... Earned seven victories in the epee at Cleveland State (1/18) ... Placed 17th at the season-opening Danosi Open (12/2) ... Named to UDM Athletic Director's Honor Roll.

2012-13: Finished with 13 wins on the season... Was one of seven Titan fencers to compete at the NCAA Midwest Fencing Regionals at Notre Dame (3/9-10)... Recorded a 17th place finish at the Regionals... Tied for third highest win total on the women's team with three victories at Notre Dame Duals (2/23)... Had second highest win total among Titan women with five wins at Northwestern (2/3)... Recorded a win at UDM Invitational (1/12)... Was tied for 15th in women's epee at the Istvan Danosi (12/2) hosted by Wayne State... Winner of women's Most Improved award... Named to UDM Athletic Director's Honor Roll.

2011-12: Finished with 14 wins on the season in women's epee... Seven of the wins were one-touch victories... Recorded six wins at Notre Dame Duals (Jan. 28-29)... Helped women's epee team to 9-0 win over Wisconsin at Notre Dame as part of team's 27-0 victory... Placed 39th at the MFC Championships at Notre Dame (March 3-4).

Prior to Detroit: Attended Fremont High School and earned four letters for swimming.

Personal: Daughter of Mark Berndt and Julie Gage... Born in Wisconsin... Has two siblings Eva and Jesse... Older sister Eva was also on the Detroit fencing team for four years (2011-14)... Enjoys reading, drawing, swimming and watching movies... Both parents fenced in college, her mom at UDM and her dad at U-M Dearborn... Three cousins, an aunt, and two uncles also previously attended UDM... Major is electrical engineering.
