Earned the Academic Excellence Award, achieved by recording at least a 3.0 GPA for every semester that they have participated in college athletics… A member of the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll and the Horizon League Fall and Spring Academic Honor Roll… Ended his career with a 77.32 career average in 31 rounds of golf…
2015-16: Played in nine of Detroit’s 10 tournaments… Was in the top two of the team in three events, leading the team twice… Recorded a 77.09 average for fifth on the team… Shot in the 70’s in 19 of his 23 rounds, including two at par or better… Made his Division I debut and led the team in the fall opener at the D.A. Weibring Intercollegiate carding a 224 (75-75-74) for a share of 25th… Posted a season-low 222 (74-73-75) for 21st at the NKU Fall Classic, leading the team again… Shared 40th at the Jackrabbit Invitational with a 227 (79-78-70), which included a 2-under 70 on the final 18… Tied for 43rd playing as an individual at the Big Blue Intercollegiate registering a 154 (75-79)… Tied for 10th at the Battle at the Warren firing a 148 (78-70), ending the event with a 1-under 70 in the final round… Totaled a 244 (83-82-79) and tied for 35th at the Horizon League Championship… A member of the Detroit Athletic Director’s Honor Roll as well as the Horizon League Fall & Spring Academic Honor Roll.
2014-15: Did not see any action on the year… A member of the Detroit Athletic Director's Honor Roll.
Personal: Joined the Titans after a great junior college career at Grand Rapids Community College, helping the Raiders to a top 10 national ranking… Tabbed to the PING All-East Region Team in 2014 as he was second in the Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA) with a 75.5 average in 30 rounds out on the links… Was All-State and All-Conference in both of his seasons, leading GRCC to the MCCAA Western Conference Championship in 2013 and 2014… As a sophomore, he was runner-up at the MCCAA State Championship by just one stroke… Claimed 19th at the NJCAA Region XII Championship as GRCC was second and the Raiders also placed ninth in the NJCAA Division II National Championship, where he earned 41st… As a freshman, he placed fifth individually in the MCCAA state finals and third in the Western Conference championship… In high school, he helped Davison to a Division I runner-up effort at the state championship as a senior… He also comes from a family of golfers as his brother, Jake, is currently a senior golfer at HL-rival Oakland and his older brother Tommy also played for the Golden Grizzlies... Majoring in Accounting.
