HIGH SCHOOL:
Was a two-year letterwinner at Flint Carman-Ainsworth High School before lettering with Flora MacDonald Academy (N.C.) as a senior in 2012 ... he helped lead the Cougars to their first-ever State Championship along with the 1A North Carolina Independent Schools Athletic Association title and was tabbed to the NCISAA 1A Boys All-State Team ... he made eight three-pointers en route to scoring 30 points against No. 1 nationally ranked Oak Hill Academy ... he averaged 20.0 points per game as a senior and was tabbed a three star recruit and Top 150 player by Rivals ... he began his high school career at Carman-Ainsworth High School in Flint, where he was regarded as one of the best shooters in the state ... he averaged nearly 15 points per game as a junior earning honorable mention to the Flint Journal's All-Area team, while helping the squad to a 16-6 record and a trip to the district finals ... he averaged 10.0 points per game as a sophomore.
