Biography

2015-16: Tied for the team lead with 11 singles victories on the season, going 11-11 overall from No. 4 and 5… Added 11 doubles victories with a winning record of 11-9… In Horizon League play, she went 3-6 in singles and 4-2 in doubles… Won four straight singles matches against IUPUI’s Mariella Pessina, Youngstown State’s Ana Stroe, Toledo’s Lauren Thai and Duquesne’s Sarah Shashura… Began the season with seven straight doubles victories while playing with Anna Davydova, picking up wins against Chicago State, Wright State, Toledo (twice), Duquesne, Youngstown State and UIC… Finished the season with three straight doubles wins while playing with Iris Thioux, posting wins over Northern Kentucky, UIC and Valparaiso… Earned Detroit Mercy Athletic Director’s Honor Roll and the Horizon League’s Honor Roll. 

2014-15: Fourth on the team with a 13-13 record going 4-2 in the Horizon League, mostly at No. 5 and No. 6... Was 12-10 in dual play, including 6-3 at No. 5 and 6-6 sat No. 6… Finished 9-11 in doubles and 3-1 in the Horizon League at No. 3... Came up with the clinching win in the HL Championship quarterfinals as she ousted Cleveland State’s Jana Schober, 3-6, 7-5, 7-6 (5) at No. 6 in a bout that ended at 1:30 a.m. (starting at 9:00 p.m.) and sending the Titans to the title match… Also teamed with Valeryia Kulikovskaya for a 6-3 victory over the CSU duo of Schober and Aleksandra Golawska in the quarterfinals… Defeated Green Bay’s Samm Pedersen, 6-4, 6-0, Valparaiso’s Megan Barthels, 6-2, 6-0, UIC’s Melika LeBlanc, 6-2, 7-6 (5), and Oakland’s Juliana Guevara, 7-6 (5), 6-4... Recorded good regional wins beating Bowling Green’s Antonina Farrar, 6-0, 6-0, and Eastern Michigan’s Maria Paula Ribero, 7-6 (4), 2-6, 6-2, at No. 5 as well as Toledo’s Emily Mazzola, 6-3, 4-6, 6-3, at No. 6… Outlasted Northern Kentucky’s Nicole Soutar, 3-6, 7-6 (4), 1-0 (9), at No. 6…  Picked up three wins in the fall… Garnered her first win as a Titan defeating Natalia Abdalla of Cincinnati, 7-5, 0-6, 10-8, at the Bowling Green Invitational… Teamed with Anna Davydova for two wins at the Rocket Invite posting an 8-2 triumph over IPFW’s Alina Schibol and Sara Sherif and an 8-5 tally over Duquesne’s Alexa Miller and Zuzanna Stelmaszak… Earned a spot on the Detroit Athletic Director’s Honor Roll. 

Prior to Detroit: A transfer from South Carolina State, where she helped the Lady Bulldogs win a MEAC championship in 2013-14… Claimed runner-up in the 16U district championship as a prep… Ranked in the top 100 in her country… Played club with NVLTB and won a U17 district championship.
