Biography

2011: Started all 20 games this season for the Titans... Recorded two goals and two assists for six points... First goal came in 5-1 win at IUPUI (Aug. 26)... Had a two-match point streak with an assist in the next contest at Bowling Green (Aug. 28)... Added an assist against Madonna (Sept. 8)... Scored second career game-winning goal against Valparaiso (Oct. 15) at Titan Field... Finishes Titan career with four goals, six assists for 14 points in 76 career games (all starts)... Was a team co-captain.

2010: A team co-captain... Earned an assist in a 1-1 draw at San Diego State (Sept. 3)... Scored team's only goal at Wright State at 63:11 to bring Titans within a goal in 2-1 loss (Oct. 1)... Recorded five shots at Green Bay (Oct. 24) which was second highest on team behind Abby McCollum's nine... Started in all 20 of team's matches... Earned the Coach's Award at season's end... Named to the 2010 UDM Athletic Director's Honor Roll.

2009: Started all 18 games for Detroit in the back... Notched three points on three assists… Attempted 13 shots on the season, with six on goal, when she did go upfront... Recorded her first collegiate helper feeding Sarah Dzuris for the Titans’ lone goal at IUPUI... She also helped set up Rebecca Pidgeon’s second goal against Youngstown State and Trina Kochanski’s marker at Valparaiso... An agressive defender, picked up two yellow cards on the year... A member of the University of Detroit Mercy Athletic Director’s Honor Roll.

2008: A young standout defender who started all 18 games as a freshman... Attempted 10 shots on the year with six on goal coming away with one marker... That score came at Youngstown State and it proved to be the game winner as she took a feed from rookie teammate Lauren Roffey and put it past the keeper with 3:35 left in the contest.

Prior to Detroit: Lettered for three years in soccer and basketball and four years in track... Led the Norsemen to a district and regional championship as well as a state semifinals appearance as a senior... A three-time First-Team All-District and All-Region honoree... Also earned second team All-State as a senior and Third Team All-State as a junior... A member of the National Honor Society holding the position of Vice President as a junior.

Personal: Daughter of Mary Ann and Don Korson... Has three brothers Kyle, Colin and Layton... A biology major.
