2011 Cross Country: Ran his fastest on National Catholic course of 27:03... Season best of 27:02 at Guelph... 66th place Horizon League finish in 29:52.

2011 Outdoor: Scored 5th in Horizon League 1500m and 800m… Became the 5th Titan to break 3:55 in 1500m with his 3:54.16 (#4 Titan) and then ran 1:53.00 in 800m... Ran 1:53.37- 60th at Mt. SAC and next day got first sub-4 1500m as a Titan running 3:58.70 at the Beach Invite… Won 800m vs. Oakland in 1:55.99… 800m of 1:54.65 at Colonial Relays and ran lead-off of 4:01 on 7th place 4x1500m (16:17.72)… Drake Relays ran a 4:18.70 lead-off in 4x1600m to establish UDM Record (17:40.22) and anchored sprint medley to 10th(3:26.63) with a 1:55.3 800m.

2011 Indoor: Won team Coach’s Award… Broke UDM indoor 800m record running 1:53.31 for 2nd at GaREAT Open after a 1200m 3:04.4 on the 3rd place DMR-10:09.91…  Lowered 800m record to 1:52.81 taking 6th as part of his and team’s great Horizon League Championship… Ran lead-off 1200m (3:03.2) on HL champion and UDM Record DMR (9:57.48) … Ran on the Horizon League and UDM indoor record 4x400m (3:15.58) that took team to the runner-up spot in the team standings… Won 1000m at Windsor running 2:29.15 just the second Titan to break 2:30 and first on a 200m track.

2010 Outdoor: Opened season with photo finish loss to teammate Alex Gould in Oakland Dual (1:56.94)... Penn Relay 800m carry of 1:54.4 on UDM Record distance medley (9:58.09) and 1:56.6 on #9 Titan 4x800m (7:52.66)... Narrowly missed Horizon League 800m finishing 10th with 1:54.73 PR and ran season-best 1500m of 4:01.31.

2010 Indoor: Did not compete.

2009 Cross Country: Opened running at his best with a Cass-Benton personal record of 22:14 at the Running Fit-Detroit Titan Invite, 27:09 8k PR at National Catholics and then 26:38 PR at Louisville... 26:46 at BGSU and then took 49th at HL championship at Kensington.

2008 Outdoor: Started season at Raleigh with 3:59 1500m carry in 4x1500m... Later, just missed collegiate best running 4:00.60 in open 1500m and ran 1:56 leg of #9 Titan 4x800m of 7:53.00... Took third in the elite mile at Detroit Track and Field Classic behind Canadian Olympian Nate Brannen and teammate Pat Liederbach... Lost photo finish to teammate Alex Gould in 800m at Oakland Dual after leading most of the race running 1:55.59.

2008 Indoor: Back from injury with great finish to indoor... 1:55.88 indoor 800m PR at Silverston Invite…A great Horizon League champiosnhip double scoring with PR’s in the mile and 800m taking fifth in both at 4:19.75 and 1:55.05 respectively.

2008 Cross Country: Redshirt.

2007 Outdoor: 15:37.6 5000m PR at the Meet Cancelled Classic... 1500m best of 4:00.46 at Cincinnati... 1:57.60 for 800m at Bucknell... Ran 800m leg of 10:12.10 distance medley at the 99th Drake Relays.

2007 Indoor: Ran 3:05.5 1200m leg of Horizon League third place distance medley, where he also scored sixth in the mile at 4:20.28... 9:11.13 3000m PR at Eastern Michigan.

2007 Cross Country: Injury shortened promising season... 8k PR of 27:35 at National Catholics.

High School: At the 2007 Ontario HS Championships was fifth in 800m and 11th in 1500m…Placed fifth in Canadian Junior National in 800m... Ran a 3:53.64 for 1500m at summer open meet in London, ON. 

Personal: Son of Daryl and Theresa Mahler... A business major with a GPA of 3.20.
