Detroit, MI --- University of Detroit Mercy is proud to be hosting the College Coaches Showcase Camp on Sunday, November 4, 2018. The camp will feature college softball coaches from Purdue University, University of Illinois, Michigan State University, Oakland University, University of Detroit Mercy, Defiance College, and possibly others.
The one-day event will feature three main sessions: Pitching/Catching, Infield/Outfield, and Hitting. The camp is open to all high school softball who have an interest in working directly with college softball coaches. The camp player-to-coach ratio will not exceed 8:1 with a goal of 6:1.

The College Coaches Showcase Camp will also feature a Discussion on College Athletics. This portion of camp is open to all parents and players attending any of the sessions. This is an open-ended discussion about NCAA rules and the different aspects of college softball. Questions are encouraged and this is a “can’t miss” opportunity for those parents looking for good information on what the process of becoming a college athlete can look like for their child.
