2015: Did not run in any races to earn a redshirt…

High School: Earned varsity letters in cross country, track and swimming… Was First Team All-League and All-County as a junior and senior… A state qualifier as a senior in cross country and holds the fourth fastest time in school history… Part of a school record 4x400 and 4x800-meter relay as a junior, and the 4x800 was league champions as a sophomore and junior as well as a state qualifier in 2014… Won the league and regional 800-meters as a senior and was a state qualifier…  Ran club with Elite Performance and helped the 4x800 quartet to a All-American status and a third-place finish at the AAU junior Olympics…
 
Personal: Son of Natalie and Keith Hooker... Chose Detroit because of the academics and championship history… A Civil Engineering major.
