Former Titan student-athlete Josh Shaw re-joined the men's golf program in August 2017 as a men's golf graduate assistant.

Shaw played golf for Detroit Mercy from 2012-16, competing in 65 rounds across four seasons. He finished his collegiate career with a 78.5 stroke average per round with five top-20 finishes to his name.

Four of those top-20's came in his senior season when he averaged 76.4 strokes per round.

A native of Lincoln, England, Shaw shot a career-low 67 during the Jackrabbit Invitational in his final season in the red, white and blue in 2015-16. Shaw also shared 19th at the Horizon League Championship in his senior season with a 231 (78-77-76).

Shaw was a Detroit Mercy Athletic Director's Honor Roll member throughout college as well as a Horizon League Fall & Spring Academic Honor Roll honoree.
