Kim Up Close:
Among the most highly-decorated players ever to sign with UDM…A member of the 2011 Ontario Under-19 Team…First Titan ever to win the Ontario Junior Boy’s Championship (joining Mike Weir & Matt Hill) and first to win a CN Future Links title (2011 CN Future Links Prairie Championship)…A very consistent player with the ability to string birdies together…Has a solid, repeating swing and a good short game…Ranked second on the 2011 GAO Junior Boy’s Order of Merit and third in the RCGA’s rankings.

2011-12:
Tabbed the Horizon League Newcomer of the Year, just the eighth Titan in school history to earn the award…Also named All-Horizon League and HL All-Tournament…Led the team with a 74.3 average, while playing in all nine events…The team leader in the clubhouse in three tournaments, while tying for the top spot on another occasion…Was in the top 20 six times with three top-10 efforts…Shot 75 or better in 17 of his 25 rounds on the season…Took runner-up honors at the Butler Invitational with a 143 (71, 72)…Tied for sixth at the HL Championship after firing a 227 (74, 73, 80), propelling him to All-Tournament accolades…Tallied a season-low  216 (74, 68, 74) for a share of 15th at the NYX Hoosier Invitational, which included his three-under 68 in round two for his best 18-hole score on the year…Tied for 13th at the Dayton Flyer Invitational with a team-best 148 (77, 71)…Led Detroit at DePaul’s John Dallio Memorial sharing ninth with a 220 (75, 72, 73)…Shot a one-over 72 in the second round to claim a share of 11th at Illinois State’s D.A. Weibring totaling a 221 (74, 72, 74)…Started his collegiate career with back-to-back one-over 72’s at the Michigan Wolverine Intercollegiate, where he finished 31st with a 221 (72, 72, 77)…A member of the Detroit Athletic Director’s Honor Roll…

Personal:
Coming off a great 2011 summer campaign that saw him win the Ontario Junior Boy’s Championship and the CN Future Links Prairie Championship as well as tying for 16th at the Canadian Junior Championship…He finished the 2010 season as the15th-ranked junior golfer by the RCGA (Royal Canadian Golf Association)…He qualified for U.S. Junior Amateur by winning the sectional qualifier held in West Virginia…He also took second at the RCGA Future Links Prairie Championship, third at Greens and Dreams Junior Invitational, fifth at Ontario Junior Spring Classic and 48th at the Ontario Men’s Amateur…He helped Ontario defeat South Carolina at the annual CanAm Cup matches…In 2009, he placed 19th at the Ontario Junior and 29th at the Canadian Junior…Majoring in Business Administration.
