2008-09: Saw limited action in the fall and spring finishing the year with a 1-8 record in singles and an 0-3 mark in doubles…Was 1-4 at the No. 6 spot, earning his first win against St. Francis’ (PA) Kyle Primeau 6-1, 6-2…That win helped UDM beat the Red Flash, 6-1…Inserted into the No. 6 position in the last three weeks of the season as well as the conference tournament, due to an injury to Patrick Troy…A member of the AD honor roll.

Prior to Detroit: Attended Dearborn High School for one year where he posted a 19-4 record as a senior under coach Jon Kreger…Named first team all-area and all-conference…Won his conference championship playing No. 1 singles and was both a regional finalist and a state qualifier…Led the Pioneers to a conference and regional championship as well as a 12th-place finish at the state tournament…Also played tennis on the USTA junior circuit qualifying for the Midwest Closed and Midwest Open tournaments, winning a pair of matches in both events…Was ranked inside the top 10 in the USTA Southeastern Michigan tennis rankings as a senior.

Personal: Son of Susan Vance.... Hobbies include listening to music, relaxing and hanging out with friends ...
