Indoor: Ran his best at the Horizon League meet running indoor PRs in the 3000m (9:05.62) and 5000m (15:35.49) taking 11th and eighth, respectively.

2005 Cross Country: Posted a 21:30 4-mile PR for sixth at the Golden Grizzly Open...8k PR of 26:37 at the Paul Short Run...Lowered it to 26:32 for 32nd place at the HL championship.
Outdoor: 15:25.21 5000m PR at Duke, good for #7 on the Titan Top 10...A week later, claimed the rookie 10,000m record and the #4 Titan spot with his 31:47.18 at Bucknell...3000m PR of 9:01.57 at EMU and was 12th in the Horizon League 10,000m with a run of 32:22.36, a time also under the previous rookie record.
Indoor: Ran indoor PRs of 9:06.40 and 15:52.19 at the conference championships, placing 20th in both races...Mile indoor PR of 4:39.17 at the Silverston Invite.
2004 Cross Country: Top five runner in each race...10k PR of 34:27 at Western Ontario...Placed 165th at NCAA regional just off 10k PR running a 34:34.
