Marc Gillis joined the Titan softball staff in January of 2018. Previously he was an assistant coach at the University of Michigan - Dearborn. During his time with UM-Dearborn the Wolverines set the school record for wins in a season and enjoyed their highest finish ever in the conference tournament. He has also worked many camps and clinics with power five conference schools.
As a player Gillis competed at the highest level of the men’s game. He was the leading hitter on the first Michigan team to qualify for the International Softball Congress World Tournament. He was also a member of the only Michigan team to win the ISC world championship.
Gillis is a member of the Saginaw County Sports Hall of Fame and the Saginaw St. Peter & Paul Athletic Association Hall of Fame.
