Prior to Detroit: Was named a NJCAA Division II second team All-American while at Lansing Community College, where her team placed fourth at the NJCAA DII World Series in 2008 and third in 2009…Also a member of volleyball, basketball and cheerleading teams at Mason County Central High School…Earned all-state honors in softball from 2005-07, was an honorable mention all-state performer in volleyball in 2007 and was all-conference in basketball in 2006…Accumulated 1,099 strikeouts during her high school softball career…Played club ball for Compuware for two seasons and spent one season each with the Midland Lady Explorers and Line Drive Express from Midland.
