2014: Played in 48 games, starting 47 contests primarily at second base... Was second on the team with 74 fielding assists and also had a .964 fielding percentage... Committed just one error in the just 30 games played... Had an RBI single vs. Ball State (3/2)... Stole a base in the first game of a doubleheader at Dayton (4/1)... Went 1-for-2 in the opener of a twinbill vs. Davenport (4/9)... Named to 2013 Fall and 2014 Spring Horizon League Academic Honor Roll... Named to UDM Athletic Director's Honor Roll.

2013: Played in and started 41 games… Finished the year with a .125 batting average and a .236 on base% with three doubles and three RBI… Went 2-4 with a double, an RBI and a run scored against SEMO (2/22)… She was 1-2 with a walk and a run scored against South Dakota (3/2)… Was 1-1 with an RBI double and a run scored against Fordham (3/16)… Was 1-2 with a double, a run scored and a stolen base against Central Michigan (4/3)… Was 1-3 with a run scored against Loyola (4/13)… Scored a run in a 9-0 win over Valparaiso (4/20)… A member of the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll.

2012: Recorded her first collegiate hit when she went 3-4 with an RBI against St. Bonaventure (Feb. 10)...  Started all 51 games and recorded 30 hits with a home run and three doulbes...  Went 2-3 with a run against Ohio (Feb. 11)...  Drove in a run on an RBI double against UMKC (Feb. 26)...  Was 2-2 with a double and a run in a 4-3 victory over Evansville (Feb. 26)...  Had a two-run single to help UDM to a 4-1 victory over Holy Cross (Mar. 4)...  Was 2-3 with two RBi in a 5-3 win in the opener of a double header against Dayton (Mar. 20)...  Had two hits, including a home run three RBI and two runs scored, in a 10-7 win over Oakland (Mar. 21)... Named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll.

Prior to Detroit: Attended Milan High School with fellow freshman Kat Hoffman... Named to the All-League second team in 2010 and earned All-League honorable mention honors in 2008 and 2009... Also took home All-District honorable mention accolades and scholar athlete awards from 2008-10... Recognized as an All-State Academic in 2008 and 2009.

Personal: Daughter of Jesse and Tina Garcia... Has two siblings, Melissa and Samantha... Born in Bellflower, CA... Also earned varsity letters in volleyball at Milan... Relishes the competition of sports, being part of a team and continuously working to improve... Enjoys ceramics, poetry and being part of her church youth group... Major is nursing.
