2014: Played in 44 games, starting 40 contests at seven different positions -- pitcher (14 starts), designated player (13), second base (7), center field (2), first base (2), right field (1) and catcher (1)... Made 29 appearances as a pitcher, starting 17 games in the circle... Led the team with three victories and struck out 42 batters in 97.2 innings in the circle... Offensively, hit .241 with 28 hits, 14 runs and six RBI... Tied for second on the team in walks with 15... Started season on five-game hitting streak (8-for-14, .571)... Went 2-for-2 with a walk, stealing a base and scoring a run in season-opener vs. Belmont (2/8)... Tossed a complete game victory vs. Butler (2/8), striking out three and allowing five hits and two runs in seven innings... Reached base three more times with two hits and a walk at Belmont (2/9)... 2012: Recorded her first collegiate hit with an RBI single in a 6-2 victory oever Lafayette (Mar. 10)... Went 3-6 with three runs in a doubleheader against Dayton (Mar. 20)... Recorded two hits and scored a run in game 10-7 win over Oakland (Game 1; Mar. 21)... Scored two runs in the first game of a doubleheader against IPFW (Apr. 5)... Recorded her first collegiate extra base hit with a double against Cleveland State (May 2)... She made her first collegiate pitching appearance when she pitched three innings allowing only one earned run against Ohio (Feb. 11)... She made her first collegiate start in a losing effort against Butler... She earned her first collegiate win in a complete game against Lehigh when she struck out three in a 3-2 victory... Earned a win in relief when she pitched two innings allowing one run in a 7-6 (8 inn.) victory over UIC (Apr. 14)... She played and started in 46 games... Named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll.
Prior to Detroit: Attended Milan with fellow freshman Vanessa Garcia... Finished with a .525 batting average her senior year helping her squad reach the State Finals for the first time in school history... In 2011, was named Division 2 Miss Softball Pitcher, Monroe Evening News Player of the Year and the Heritage News Player of the Year... Owns school career marks for hits (205), ERA (1.13), wins (87), strikeouts (898) and stolen bases (90)... Also established single season records for hits (69-2011), runs (51-2010), stolen bases (37-2011), walks (23-2010), wins (29-2011) and ERA (0.49- 2011)... Helped her Milan team to the 2009 and 2010 Huron League Championships... In 2010, the Big Reds reached the District Championships and the Regional Finals... Garnered First Team All-League, All-Region, and All-District all four years... Earned an All-State honorable mention in 2010... Also earned a single letter in varsity basketball and was named to Academic All-Conference team.
