This marks the first-ever meeting between Detroit and Colgate in women's basketball action.
ABOUT COLGATE
Colgate heads into Saturday's match-up with a 2-4 overall record, including a 48-46 win over Albany at home on Nov. 26. The other win for the Raiders came against SFNY in Hamilton, NY, on Nov. 22 by a score of 56-54. Sami Kozlowski leads Colgate with 11.8 points per game, while Georgia Gier is averaging a team-best 7.5 rpg.
BRIDGING THE GAP
Junior
Brigid Mulroy led all scorers in Detroit's match-up against Indiana State with a career-high 21 points. Mulroy also set new personal-bests in field goals (8) and 3-pointers (5) against the Sycamores.
NOT FOR CHARITY
Senior
Sandi Brown came off the bench on Nov. 25 against Indiana State to score a team second-best 18 points, which included a 6-of-7 showing from the field. Brown also matched her career-high of made free throws (6-of-7) versus ISU.
HALL AND OATES
Junior
Chanica Hall dished out seven assists against Indiana State (Nov. 25) to tie her personal-best and also added five points in 24 minutes of play.
VS. RANKED TEAMS
The Detroit Titans made history on Nov. 22 as UDM defeated #23 Georgia by a score of 70-66 at Calihan Hall. This marked the first time since the conference changed its name to the Horizon League (2001-02) in which the Titans defeated a ranked opponent. UDM now owns a 1-11 mark in this category.
GOING BACK IN TIME
Detroit's win over Southeastern Conference member school, Georgia, was the first win against an SEC school since Nov. 23, 1979 when the Titans defeated Louisiana State by a score of 84-76 in Detroit. Prior to Saturday's victory, the Titans had lost 13-straight to SEC schools.
WHERE ARE THE TITANS?

Brigid Mulroy is 14th among conference peers in scoring average (13.5 ppg), while senior
Zemora Davis is next on the list with an average of 12.5 points per contest. Mulory is also tied for second in 3-point field goals made average (3.0) and sits ninth in 3-point field goal percentage (.387). Freshman

Jalesa Jones is ninth with 3.8 assists per contest.
COACHING DEBUT AT HOME
Autumn Rademacher coached her first game for the Titans on UDM's home court against #23 Georgia and Detroit came out on the winning end, 70-66. Since the start of UDM women's basketball (1977-78), Rademacher and the eight full-time head coaches prior, now own a collective 4-5 record in their coaching debut on Detroit's home court.

Lauren Allen collected her first career double-double as she netted a team third-best 13 points and tied for a game-high 11 rebounds against Georgia (Nov. 22). Allen also dished out a team second-best five assists.

LAST TIME OUT
The University of Detroit Mercy women's basketball team dropped a 74-60 decision to Indiana State on Nov. 25 at Calihan Hall.
In the first half, the Titans scored 10 unanswered points, which included a 3-pointer from both juniors

Chanica Hall to give Detroit a 14-8 advantage at 13:51. Indiana State tied it at 16 with 11 minutes remaining and followed with a 14-0 scoring run, which was capped off with a 2-pointer from sophomore Kelsie Cooley to put the score at 30-16 in favor of the Sycamores (3:46).
In the closing minutes of the first stanza, UDM senior
Sandi Brown made two free throws and Mulroy, who finished with a personal-best five treys, netted another 3-pointer to pull the Titans within seven at the break (35-28).
Junior
Heather Hatter cut two more points off ISU's lead in the opening minutes of the second half (37-32), but the Sycamores responded with a 16-7 run to take a 51-35 lead over the Titans at 12:31. Mulroy hit a jumper in the paint to pull UDM within six (49-55) at 5:37, but that was the closest Detroit would get to the Sycamores in the final minutes of the contest.
Mulroy led all scorers with a career-high 21 points after making a personal-best eight field goals, while Brown tied for a game second-best 18 points. Freshman
Lauren Allen and Brown each tallied six rebounds, while Hall tied her career-high of seven assists.
Four Sycamores scored in double figures, which included a team-high 18 points from junior Kelsey Luna and a team second-best 15 points from senior Leah Phillips. Cooley and freshman Deja Mattox each added 10 for Indiana State.
Detroit shot 34 percent on the night and made eight 3-pointers, while the Sycamores had a 26-of-53 showing from the field (49 percent) and sank 10 from long range. UDM had a 21-18 advantage in assists, but ISU outrebounded Detroit, 37-32.
NEW LOGO
The University of Detroit Mercy Athletic Department officially unveiled its bright, bold new logo on Aug. 15, 2008. The new insignia for Detroit Titan Athletics - designed by a Detroit-based firm, Starr Constand - replaces a logo which has been in use since 1993.
CALIHAN HALL
This past summer the court in Calihan Hall received a makeover as the floor was resurfaced to highlight the Titans new athletic logo prominently in the center of the court. In addition, the Horizon League logo has been moved to each free throw lane, consistent with the courts throughout the conference.
DETROIT INKS THREE
UDM head coach Autumn Rademacher announced that three student-athletes have signed National Letters of Intent to play for the Titans, beginning with the 2009-10 season. The signees are: Demeisha Fambro (G, 5-9, Detroit, MI/Crockett Tech), Kassandra Hooten (F, 6-0, Moorhead, MN/Moorhead) and Cherridy Thornton (F, 6-1, Detroit, MI/Frank Cody Senior).
FINAL FOUR IN DETROIT
The University of Detroit Mercy will serve as the host institution for the 2009 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Final Four, which will be held on April 4 & 6, 2009 at Ford Field in Detroit, MI.
