Seniors Kevin Demorest (Birmingham, MI/Seaholm) and Michael Schumacher (Grand Rapids, MI/Forest Hills Central) each tallied two goals on the day as the UDM men's lacrosse team ended its two game east coast road trip with a 15-4 loss at Quinnipiac on Sunday afternoon.

The Titans fought back from an early deficit as the Bobcats scored the first nine goals of the contest. The red, white and blue would get on the scoreboard with less then a minute to go in the second period as Schumacher found the back of the net.

Detroit added three goals in the fourth starting with a pair from Demorest, while Schumacher's last tally cut the QU lead to 14-4.

Junior Vince Diana (Massillon, OH Jackson) started in goal and made 12 saves in 55 minutes of action. The Titans won the battle in the circle against Quinnipiac winning 14 of 23 faceoffs, led by sophomore Matt Gregson (Flint, MI/Powers Catholic) who was nearly perfect winning 8-of-9.

After playing two games in three days, UDM will now be off for two weeks before heading to South Carolina to take on Presbyterian College on Saturday, April 4.
