SERIES RECORD
Detroit owns a 40-19 advantage in the overall series with Loyola, which dates back to the 1982-83 season. The Titans have won the past four games against the Ramblers and the past five out of six meetings. Last season, UDM captured three victories over LUC, with the last coming in the first round of the Horizon League Championship at home on March 9 by a score of 72-67.

SCOUTING THE RAMBLERS
Loyola heads into Saturday's match-up having won three-straight games, including a 63-56 overtime win at Wright State on Thursday. The Ramblers own a 9-7 overall record, are 3-2 in Horizon League play and Loyola is 3-6 thus far this season when playing on the road. The last loss for the Ramblers came at Valparaiso on Jan. 4 by a score of 48-39. Maggie McCloskey leads Loyola with 10.7 points per game, while Ellen Ayoub is averaging a team-best 4.6 rebounds per contest.

FIVE IS DEFINITELY ALIVE
Not only did senior Brigid Mulroy make all five attempts from long range, but her last one left her hands just as time expired to help propel the Titans to a 66-65 win over visiting UIC Thursday night. In addition, Mulroy missed only one attempt all night as she had a 5-of-6 showing from the field and she also made both attempts at the line to end with a game second-best 17 points.

HORIZON LEAGUE STANDINGS
With a 3-1 record in Horizon League play, Detroit stands alone in the second slot among conference schools, while Loyola is currently tied for third with a 3-2 mark in league games.

THREE'S COMPANY
There were three key players in the final play for the Titans on Thursday as sophomore Lauren Allen took the throw-in from the other end of the court and passed it to sophomore Jalesa Jones, who then got it into the hands of the current Horizon League leader in 3-point field goal percentage, Brigid Mulroy.

ONE FOR THE MONEY
Prior to last season's 76-75 overtime win at Eastern Michigan (Dec. 20), the last time the Titans defeated their opponent by just one point was at Toledo on Nov. 23, 2003 (50-49).

SEVEN-UP
After making five treys on Thursday, Mulroy now stands all alone at the seventh spot in Detroit's record books with 113 career 3-pointers.

HERE TO HELP
Sophomore Lauren Allen dished out a game-high seven assists against the Flames on Thursday. Allen also added a team third-best 10 points, which included two treys, to tie for a season-high.

LEADING THE WAY
Sophomore Yar Shayok shot 9-of-14 from the field to end with a game-high 18 points against the Flames on Thursday. This marks the ninth time that Shayok has scored in double figures thus far this season. Shayok also led the Titans in rebounds as she added a game second-best eight caroms, which is the 11th time this year that she has led or tied for the lead among teammates in this category.

HOME SWEET HOME
Detroit has now won three-straight games at Calihan Hall, which began against Colgate on Dec. 30 (67-44), followed by a 68-47 win against Wright State on Jan. 3 and now the 66-65 win over UIC on Thursday. The last time the Titans won three consecutive contests at Calihan Hall was at the end of the 2008-09 campaign as Detroit defeated UIC on March 5 (63-55), Loyola two days later (57-49) and then Loyola, again, on March 9 in the first round of the Horizon League Championship (72-67).

START YOUR ENGINES
For the past five games, head coach Autumn Rademacher has used the starting line-up of sophomores Yar Shayok, Jalesa Jones and Lauren Allen, as well as senior Brigid Mulroy and junior Tayler Langham. This starting five has compiled a 4-1 record, which started with a 67-44 win over visiting Colgate on Dec 30.

NO REST NEEDED
Two Titans played all 40 minutes against the Flames in sophomores Yar Shayok and Jalesa Jones. This is the third time this year Jones has seen action for 40 minutes, while this is a new career-high for Shayok.

THREE TO GET READY
As a team, the Titans made nine 3-pointers against UIC on Thursday, which is the second-best showing for Detroit in this category thus far this year. Detroit set the standard for the season at Indiana State (Dec. 1) when the Titans poured in 10 from beyond the arc.

FROM LONG RANGE
Freshman Demeisha Fambro added eight points and tied her season-high of two treys against UIC on Thursday.

FOR CHARITY
Freshman Cherridy Thornton set new personal standards in made free throws (3) and rebounds (5), while tying her season-high of five points at Green Bay on Jan. 9.

TWO FOR THE SHOW
For the second time this season, sophomore Lauren Allen led the Titans in scoring as she netted 11 points after having a 4-of-7 showing from the field at Green Bay on Jan. 9. Two of those field goals were 3-pointers, which ties Allen's season-high in that category.

I'LL TAKE THREE OF THOSE
Two points wasn't enough for sophomore Lauren Allen, so she sank one from long range with 30 seconds left in the game against Milwaukee (Jan. 7) to help lift the Titans to their third-straight win.

RUNNING FROM THE LAW
When we were young, we were taught that it's not okay to steal, but there's an exception and sophomore Yar Shayok proved that on Jan. 7 as she collected a career-high, game-best and a season-high single game showing for the Titans with six steals.

MAKING A 'BIG' IMPACT
Sophomore Jalesa Jones, also known as 'Lil' Bit', poured in a team-high 14 points after making a career-high six field goals and also added a team-best five assists against Milwaukee on Jan. 7.

ALL BOARDED UP
The Titans outrebounded the Panthers, 42-20, in Detroit's 59-57 victory on Jan. 7 and UDM also edged the Phoenix in caroms, 33-30, this two days later.

HAPPY DAYS, AGAIN
Richie Cunningham or Fonzie couldn't be found in the stands on Thursday, but it was a 'Happy Day' for the Titans as their win against Milwaukee on Jan. 7 was the first on the Panthers' home court since March 3, 2005 (59-49).

THAT'S MY BALL
Junior Tayler Langham collected double figure rebounds for the first time in a Titan uniform as she ended with a team-high 11 caroms against Milwaukee on Jan. 7.

Against Bowling Green (Dec. 9), she came off the bench to score a team-high and then personal-best 12 points after shooting 4-of-11 from the field and making her lone attempt from long range.

FAMBRO LEADS THE WAY
Freshman Demeisha Fambro poured in a game-high 22 points, which included a perfect 5-of-5 showing at the line, against Eastern Michigan (Dec. 5). MORE MULROY

TALE OF TWO HALVES
The Titans shot 36 percent in the first half against Oakland (Nov. 13) and came back from the break to shoot 61 percent in the second stanza, compared to a 29 percent effort from the Golden Grizzlies.

BIG TEN TEAMS TO CALIHAN
Michigan was the second Big Ten team to visit Calihan Hall this year as Detroit opened up its home slate with a match-up against Michigan State on Nov. 15 and faced off with the Wolverines on Dec. 19. The last time UDM hosted both of these teams was during the 2001-02 season.

LAST TIME OUT
With UDM down by two, senior Brigid Mulroy launched one from beyond the arc as time expired to lift Detroit to a dramatic 66-65 victory over visiting UIC in a Horizon League match-up on Jan. 14 for the Titans' third straight win at Calihan Hall.

With five seconds reading on the clock, Detroit sophomore Lauren Allen had the throw-in at the other end of the court and got the ball out of her hands just in time to freshman Jalesa Jones, who then fed a pass to Mulroy and watched as the ball went through the net.

The score was tied at 63 with 21 seconds left and UIC responded with sophomore Jasmine Bailey making both of her free throw attempts to take a two-point lead with six seconds left, setting up Mulroy's heroics.

Mulroy made all five attempts from long range and only missed one basket all night as she shot 5-of-6 from the field and ended with a 17 points. She now stands seventh all-time in Detroit's record books with 113 career 3-pointers.
