Matt Gregson (Flint, MI/Powers Catholic) and freshman
Joel Matthews (St. Catharines, ON/Holy Cross Secondary) scored two goals, but a tough second period was the story as Detroit took a 13-6 loss to Marist on Saturday afternoon at Titan Field.

Detroit (2-12, 1-6 MAAC) took a 2-1 lead late in the first as Matthews and Lehto found the back of the net just 32 seconds apart from each other. From there, Marist (8-4, 5-1 MAAC) notched the game's next 10 goals to go up, 11-2.
In the third with a man down, Nowicki was able to beat the goalie for his seventh of the season and that was followed by Gregson's score at the 2:52 mark.
The Red Foxes got one back early in the fourth, but Lehto found Gregson for his second of the game with under four minute to go. The midfielder then hooked up with Matthews for the Titans last score.
