Official Horizon League Release

The 2010 Horizon League Spring Academic Honor Roll was released on Tuesday and the Detroit Titans saw 57 of their student-athletes honored for their hard work in the classroom.

A total of 715 student-athletes received the accolade. A sport-by-sport breakdown includes 90 student-athletes competing in women's track and field/cross country along with 86 in women's soccer and 74 from men's track and field/cross country. Other top sports include men's soccer (73), women's swimming and diving (59) and volleyball (55).

Candidates for the Horizon League Academic Honor Roll must meet three criteria in order to qualify: 1) participation in at least one of the League's 19 sports during the most recent (or current) season; 2) completion of three semesters (or four quarters, where applicable) as a full-time student at the same member institution; and 3) a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.20 (on a 4.00 scale).
