ON TAP
The Detroit Titans will look to rebound from Friday night's loss against Butler as the Valparaiso Crusaders come to Calihan Hall for a 1:00 p.m. tip-off on Sunday afternoon.  Valparaiso was able to stay atop the Horizon League standings with a win at Wright State on Friday.  They are now 13-5 overall with a league mark of 5-1.

ABOUT VALPO
The Crusaders came away with a nice 71-60 victory over Wright State on Friday to move into second place in the Horizon League standings.  The Crusaders had a strong defensive effort as they allowed Wright State to hit just two field goals in the first 18 minutes of the second half, erasing a seven-point halftime deficit and claiming a double-digit advantage.  Valpo now has five comeback victories on the year when trailing by double figures.  Redshirt junior Brandon Wood poured in 24 points on 10-of-11 shooting from the floor to spark the Crusader offense.  Wood is second on the team in scoring (15.2 ppg), while Cory Johnson leads Valpo with an even 17 points per contest.

WHO'S NEXT?
Detroit will travel to Ohio next weekend to face Cleveland State on Thursday at 7:30 p.m.  The road trip will end with a match-up against Youngstown on Saturday at 7:05.

BLAKE OFF THE BENCH
Junior Chris Blake has been providing an offensive spark coming off the bench for the Titans.  Blake matched his career-high point total against Butler on 4-of-11 shooting to end the night with 15 points.

SIMON SAYS...SCORE
Chase Simon led all scores in Friday night's game against Butler with 19 points of 7-of-11 shooting.  Simon is second on the team averaging 13.2 ppg.  The junior is shooting 41% from the floor during the year and is second on the team with 18 3-point field goals.

HOW CAN I ASSIST YOU?
Freshman Ray McCallum has seen the floor well this season as he sits in third place in assists per game in the Horizon League (4.4).

NEARING THE CENTURY MARK
Junior LaMarcus Lowe threw aside six shots in the win over UIC on Saturday (1/8) and added one more against Butler (1/14) to give him 48 on the season.  With the block against Butler he has tied his career-high (set in 2008-09 at Western Michigan).  He is just four blocks shy of 100 for his career going into Sunday's game.

AMONG THE NATIONAL LEADERS
