ABOUT THE BULLDOGS
Winners of two straight, Butler brings an 8-6 record as well as a perfect 2-0 start in conference play to Calihan Hall. The Bulldogs defeated Wright State, 70-58, on Thursday and that was after downing Valparaiso last Sunday, 61-49.

DIXON EARNS NATIONAL JESUIT PLAYER OF THE WEEK HONORS
Following her performance at Green Bay, sophomore
Dominique Dixon was named the National Jesuit Player of the Week.
Dixon put on a show tallying back-to-back career highs with 31 points at Green Bay and 32 markers at Milwaukee.
The Jesuit Basketball Spotlight is a nationwide effort to capitalize on basketball games between Jesuit schools and, through those games, bring greater positive awareness and exposure to Jesuit education and its shared mission. CHERR I “THREE”
Sophomore
Cherridy Thornton connected on a career-best five 3-pointers against Valparaiso, and is 12-for-22 (54%) from behind the arc in the last four games.
THORNTON FINDING HER TOUCH
Sophomore
Cherridy Thornton has netted double digits in scoring in five of her last six games after being held scoreless in her prior three contests.
She netted 18 points against Valparaiso - 17 in the first half - and that was after tying her career-high with 20 points at Milwaukee.
During this streak, she had a game-high 13 against Marygrove, a team-high 16 points at IPFW and 11 points at Michigan.
In her last six games, Thornton is averaging 13.3 ppg., shooting 27-of-54 (50%) from the field and 15-of-34 (44%) from three. She is also rebounding the ball tallying a career-high nine boards against Marygrove, while averaging 4.7 rebounds per game during this span.
LOOKING FOR 6-0 START AT HOME
The Titans are 5-0 at home on the year, their best start since they won all 13 at home during the 1986-87 campaign.
Dating back to last season, UDM has won seven straight in the Motor City with its last loss coming against Butler.
The seven-game winning streak at home is just one away from the eight-game winning streak Detroit put together in Calihan Hall last season.
UDM has posted a 14-1 record at home in its last 15 games and a 22-12 ledger since head coach Autumn Rademacher returned to her alma mater in 2008.
LENDING A HAND
UDM accounted for a season-high 22 assists - on 24 field goals - against Valparaiso and that was after recording 20 assists at Milwaukee.
In fact, in each of the last two games, Detroit has recorded more assists then turnovers after doing the reverse for 11 of its first 12 games.
TOTAL “DOM-O NATION”
Sophomore
Dominique Dixon is coming off a monster weekend where she tallied back-to-back 30-point outings at Green Bay and at Milwaukee.
She started the Horizon League season with 31 against the Phoenix hitting 12-of-18 from the field, 3-of-4 from three and 4-of-4 from the free throw line.
She then came back to top that with a career-high 32 points at Milwaukee going 11-of-16 from the field with a career-best six 3-pointers and 4-of-5 from the charity stripe. She also had a career-high five assists and matched her personal best with five boards.

ONE LAST HURDLE
Now in her third year at her alma mater as Detroit's head coach, Autumn Rademacher has seen her team record a win over every Horizon League team except Butler.
The Bulldogs have won all five during Rademacher's tenure, including all three last year with one of those in the HL semifinals.
NEARLY A LONG DISTANCE RECORD
The Titans attempted 29 3-pointers against Valparaiso, just one away from tying a school record that has been achieved on five occasions.
The 10 made treys against the Crusaders matched a season best as Detroit has hot 10 triples in each of the past two games.
GETTING THE EARLY LEAD
Detroit jumped out to a 15-2 lead against Valparaiso and never looked back as the Titans won their fourth game on the year in which they never trailed.
SPREADING IT AROUND
Detroit has had seven different leading scorers in its 14 games this year, with sophomore's
Dominique Dixon and
Cherridy Thornton leading the way with three apiece.
