DETROIT -- After a 4-0 home victory over Eastern Michigan on Tuesday, the Titan women's soccer team (1-1-0) will now hit the road this upcoming weekend for a pair of contests. Detroit will play at IUPUI Friday at 7:00 p.m. followed by a tilt Sunday afternoon at Bowling Green at 1:00 p.m. Live stats will be available for both games.

The Titans will first head out to Indianapolis to face IUPUI Friday evening. The Jaguars have started out 0-2-0 on the year with losses coming at Miami (Ohio) by a 4-0 margin and also a 2-1 defeat at Indiana State. Detroit and IUPUI have met eight previous times with the last a 3-0 Titan win last year at UDM. Overall, Detroit leads the series 4-3-1.

Sunday's match will also feature another 0-2-0 squad as Bowling Green fell 1-0 to Loyola of the Horizon League on Friday and also dropped a 5-2 decision to Illinois State Sunday. This will be the eighth time these two teams have squared off with Detroit owning a 4-3-0 winning record. However, the Falcons have taken the last two meetings by the same 4-0 score with the last match-up in 2009. The Titans last defeat over BGSU was in 2003 with a 3-0 home win.

The Titans are coming off a 4-0 win Tuesday over Eastern Michigan as senior Lauren Roffey (West Bloomfield, MI/West Bloomfield) registered her first-ever hat trick and sits atop the Horizon League in both points and goals while sophomore forward Abby McCollum (La Salle, MI/Monroe) also currently ranks first in the conference in assists with a career high three on Tuesday.

Junior midfielder Sarah Dzuris (Rochester Hills, MI/Rochester) scored the second Titan goal Tuesday, the sixth of her career on a nice one-timer from just outside the six-yard box. Sophomore goalkeeper Nora Abolins (Demorestville, ON/Centennial) made three saves in her eighth career shutout while the Titans held a 14-10 overall shooting advantage.

The Titans will return home to Michigan and play at Marygrove on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m.
